"Jiyong turned over on his stomach, making the freshly washed sheets rustle. He sighed and turned his head towards his iphone sitting on the nightstand next to his bed. He stared at it and hesitated for a moment, before he reached out for it. He laid on his side and clicked on it, the screen lighting up and blinding him temporarily. He squinted his exhausted eyes rimmed with red and saw that the time was 03.39 in the morning. He quickly, almost automatically pressed a number he knew by heart. He put the phone to his ear with slightly shaking fingers but hung up before the first tone got through. “He’s probably busy”, Jiyong thought as he put down the phone next to him on the bed and with a sinking feeling pulled the covers over his head to not have to hear his own pathetic sobs echo throughout the spacious room."
