"I can't believe we finally have time off!" Youngjae beamed, his face sporting the widest grin possible. "Are you that happy that you won't see me hyung?" Yugyeom joked. Youngjae nodded enthuiastically, earning a slap on the shoulder from Yugyeom. "You are meant to say no, ofcourse not!" Yugyeom whined. Jaebum who was witnessing this all couldn't help but smile at Yugyeom's adorableness. Despite his evil ways, the maknae was still cute. 

"You know he's only kidding Yugyeomie, everyone will miss you a lot" Mark grinned and ruffled Yugyeom's hair. "And this is why you are my favourite hyung" Yugyeom grinned and hugged the older. "Do you think Jinyoung hyung and Jackson hyung will miss me too?" Yugyeom pointed at the two who pretended to be busy on their phones. Mark cleared his throat to get their attention, but they still pretended. "You know what Yugyeommie, we will have so much fun in L.A that you won't even miss these derps" Mark chuckled.

Unconsciously, Jaebum frowned. He frowned because he saw how Yugyeom's lips curved up into a smile within milliseconds and jumped up and down to show his happiness. "Are you being serious hyung?" Yugyeom asked in disbelief. One nod from Mark was all it took for the members to erupt. "That's not fair, you never ask us to tag along!!" the other members, except JB protested. "This is what you get for bullying the baby of the group" Mark playfully stuck his tongue out. Jinyoung looked at his best friend in disbelief. "I can't believe you man. You hid this from me too, your best friend?" he pouted and pretended to be sad. 

"Well its not your fault that hyung loves me the most" Yugyeom joked and stuck his tongue out. Jaebum clenched his fists tightly when he saw Mark's cheeks flush pink. He couldn't stand this anymore and quickly said goodbye to everyone. "I really have to rush guys, I have a train to catch" he said and processed to wheel his luggages out from the door. "I'm just going to drop him off ok?" Mark told Yugyeom and followed the leader.

"Jaebum ah" Mark stopped Jaebum, who turned around at the mention of his name. "Thankyou for your advice. Without it, I wouldn't have had the courage to ask him again"  Mark smiled. "Good luck" was all Jaebum managed out before dashing towards the lift. "Have a good New Year!" Mark called out before heading back in. Jaebum angrily pressed the lift button and thought about their earlier conversation. 

- FLASHBACK -

"Jaebum ah. I think I'm gonna take someone with me to meet my family in L.A" Mark whispered from across the room, but JB heard it and immediately turned his body towards Mark. "Ooh, who's
