"Admit it" Yugyeom said. "What?" Jaebum questioned. Yugyeom clenched his fists tightly, his eyes still faced the ground. "Admit that you like me" he said in a louder voice. A few seconds later, only a chuckle left Jaebum's lips. Soon that chuckle turned into fits of laughter and Jaebum had to hold his stomach to control himself. "Kid, just because I was nice to you once, doesn't mean I like you and also, I'm not gay" Jaebum replied with a serious look, before walking away. 

More than a year passed by and Jaebum still didn't see Yugyeom. He figured that Yugyeom was probably embarassed, but he didn't want to dwell on that too much. After all, he was busy with JJ project's promotions, as well as, his drama and truth to be hold, he was glad that Yugyeom was gone. It was early September 2013 when Jaebum saw Yugyeom again, through the TV screen. The program, Win was broadcasting and YG trainees were facing JYP. At that time, Jaebum only noticed Yugyeom. It was as if the rest had disappeared.

It was November 2013, when Park Jinyoung declared that Jaebum and Jinyoung would join the five trainees to form a new group, GOT7. It was the first time Jaebum had ever been nervous. They were about to meet the five trainees and practice with them, Jaebum was aware that Yugyeom was one of them. One by one, the trainees introduced themselves and Jinyoung did his best to make the atmosphere comfortable. "Call me Junior, it makes me feel like the maknae" he said, earning smiles from them all. Jaebum's eyes wandered around the room before being fixated on the door. 'Where is he?' Jaebum felt himself getting more restless.

"And this is Jaebum hyung, but you can call him JB hyung" Junior quickly added, noticing that the older had still not introduced himself. "Talking about maknae, who's the youngest?" he questioned, to remove the tension. The trainees looked at each other. "Yugyeom's not here. He has his final test today, he'll be here shortly after" Youngjae spoke, after all, he had the best korean.

"Alright, JB you will lead the group cause you already have the experience" Park Jiyoung declared. "You, Mark and Yugyeom will  choreograph; Bambam and Jackson will write the rap part and Youngjae can start recording the song. Do well" he designated the duties. "Yes Sir" they all said in union and bowed.
