The story revolves around a girl who was raised believing she is human, but after an encounter with the fae she becomes a part of their culture and discovers that her past may not be what she thinks. 
Despite finding out that she may not be human, she struggled with what life she wants to live, and whether she should reject her supposed Fae side and stay where she is comfortable, or live with them and side with the enemies.
