Taehyung could not believe what he had just heard.

 

“TaeTae!”

Jimin shook Taehyung by the shoulders, while Seokjin and Yoongi gave a very worried look at Taehyung.

 

Taehyung looked as if he was about to cry. Tears were welling up in his eyes.

He tried to hold the back as much as he could.

 

Taehyung quickly covered his eyes with his forearms.

“I’m alright!”

 

“No, you’re not!”

Jimin said as he tried to pry the arm away, but to no avail.

 

“I’m alright!”

Taehyung raised his voice louder.

He was trying hard to convince them, but deep down he knew he was not.

 

No, I’m not. No, I’m not.

 

“Taehyung ah…”

Yoongi was not a man with many words and he was really bad with that kind of situation.

 

He had no idea why Jimin’s sudden announcement had made Taehyung cry.

 

“Jimin ah, did you say anything that provoked Taehyung?”

Yoongi turned to look at Jimin.

 

Jimin had his arms crossed, forming a “X” in front of him.

“No! All I just said was that I was being confessed by Jungkook.”

 

The three of them really did not know what went wrong with Taehyung.

 

“My heart is turning grey …”

Taehyung was choking back his tears.

 

Seokjin frowned, clearly knew that Taehyung was crying and was on the urged of bawling out loud.

“Can you just say something that we could understand?”

 

They were all very worried and frustrated, as they could not understand.

 

My heart is turning grey-scaled. Storms are covering my valves.

Taehyung wanted to say it all out.

 

I’m not okay. My heart hurts.

Few days later, Jimin and Jungkook became an item.

All of them were happy for them.

 

Even Taehyung.

 

 

Although he felt those torns filling up his ribs, he would still smile and give them his blessings.

 

At least both of them are happy.

 

Taehyung was genuinely happy for them. He was the type of person who feels happy if his closed ones are happy.

 

Including Jungkook.

 

Taehyung was glad that Jungkook had found Jimin. He did notice Jungkook’s smile was even brighter than before.

 

Taehyung tried not to think about Jungkook that often.  He tried to laugh along when both Jimin and Jungkook joked around.

He tried to hold back the heart aches, when he saw Jungkook leaned forward to steal a kiss from Jimin behind their back.

 

It’s all worth it.

Taehyung would smile.

Taehyung did not know Seokjin noticed his changes.

 

“Do you think there’s something wrong with Taehyung?”

Seokjin asked as he leaned against the chest of his boyfriend.

 

“Yeah?”

Yoongi said absent-mindedly. He had his fingers running through Seokjin’s hair and in return, Seokjin swat the hand away.

 

“I’m talking about a serious matter right here!”

Seokjin retorted, glaring at Yoongi.

 

Yoongi found the glaring cute and laughed.

“Okay, okay. I’ll be serious.”

 

Yoongi looked at Taehyung.

He did found that Taehyung kept looking at Jimin and Jungkook and would always wore a sad smile across his face.

 

“Do…Do you think,”

Yoongi looked down, to face Seokjin.

“that Taehyung looked lovelorn?”

 

“Yeah…”

Seokjin agreed. But both of them had no idea who was the one.

 

 

“Hey, “

Namjoon greeted them.

 

“ ‘Sup”

Yoongi gave Namjoon a fist bump and Seokjin raised his hand as a form of greeting.

 

Jungkook stood up and gave Namjoon a hug, so did Jimin.

Taehyung just nodded his head and smiled.

 

Namjoon smiled back and took a seat beside Yoongi , while Jungkook resumed whatever he was doing with Jimin.

“Damn, the lecture I attended just now was dry.”

Namjoon really dislike attending art history.

 

Yoongi just laughed.

“You should just drop and join me.”

 

“hahaha, very funny.”

Namjoon joked as he turned to look at the front.

He noticed Taehyung was looking rather tired.

 

“What’s wrong with that sunshine today?”

Namjoon asked.

“Is it because J-horse isn’t here?”

 

Seokjin shook his head.

“I think he’s lovelorn”

 

“Lovelorn?”

Namjoon looked at Taehyung. He was a person who picks up things easily and realized that Taehyung was actually looking at Jungkook.

He saw Taehyung would smile whenever Jungkook talk.

 

“Erm, are you guys thinking what I’m thinking?”

Namjoon turned and exchanged gazes with seokjin and Yoongi.

He had his hand gestured towards Taehyung and then towards Jungkook and then back to Taehyung again.

 

Seokjin looked startled afterwards.

“Yeah, you’re right… Why we didn’t notice that…”

 

Yoongi sighed.

“That explained why Taehyung cried when Jimin told us he was being confessed.”

 

“That ball of sunshine cried?”

Namjoon could not believe what he heard.

He remembered that ball of sunshine was always hyped up with Hoseok and not even once looking that sad until that moment when he saw how Taehyung looked at Jungkook.
