"What is it you draw this time, Misa?" The doctor speaks her name clearly as he addresses her from behind. He peers over her thin shoulders most cautiously to see a face framed in a mane of luscious hair... the color of ripen cranberries. "She has a very sweet expression on her face..."

His honesty is not well received.

"I have told you countless times, doctor. She is trying to trick you. She tricks everyone into believing what she wants them to believe. You should try not to fall for her. You should at least... try."

The doctor stops. He knows better than to agitate her. His patient's case is most sensitive. Her outburst of violence are not to be taken lightly. "It is as you say, Misa. Is it almost time for her to leave?" He eyes the innocent, white box sitting on the table. A plain, white box... with no signs of age.

"Almost."

"Can you, Misa? Can you tell me again about the Fire Goddess? How she came to be inside this little white box of yours?"

The girl stares blankly at the white box for a while before granting the doctor's wish. "The Fire Goddess..." She begins the tale. "She was a very, very naughty spirit. She enjoyed playing tricks and tormenting others. It greatly amused her. The trouble was... her little tricks were rarely harmless. Because of one prank in particular, she was placed inside this little white box. You see, she could not be made to see the seriousness of such sinful acts. That one prank... it exterminated an entire race of demons, wrecking everlasting scars. You remember, doctor? The Ice Demon's beautiful face... scarred beyond recognition? The infliction had sent him into a deep slumber. So deep, it bordered true death. And so, for two hundred years, he sleeps. And two hundred years, the elder gods have sentenced her... to two hundred years of imprisonment... to repent, to change her wicked, wicked ways. Will she change? Will she be forgiven?
