Mino woke up with the alarm he forgot to set before going to sleep just a few hours ago.

 

“…”

He murmured, trying to find his phone between the sheets. His head was about to explode, and he was already regretting all hi drunk the night before. When he found it, he looked at the time, it was 11am and he went to slept at 8am. Damn.

He sighed but then he remembered he met a childhood friend at night and sent her a message before going to sleep. He didn't remember what he wrote because he was drunk, so he decided to check it before going back to sleep.

 

“What the…”

 

He clicked on the profile. The profile picture was a boy. A really pretty boy actually. He checked the conversation again. And to his surprise, the boy has added him. He thought about writing an apology but he was too tired to even think properly so he just decided to do it when he wakes up again later.

 

He woke up again at 4pm feeling a lot better but his head still hurt a lot. He took his phone and after reading all the messages of friends saying how drunk he was yesterday he saw a message from that “mina-noona” guy. Probably it was just the boy asking who the he was and wondering why he was sending a random cat meme. Yes, it will probably be something like that.

 

 

The laugh that came out of his mouth could be heard in kilometers around. That was totally unexpected and he couldn't stop laughing for a few minutes while looking at the picture that boy sent.

So, this boy’s name was Taehyun and he was actually handsome and seems to have sense of humor. He decided it was a good chance to meet someone interesting, so he tried and sent him another message.

 

After falling asleep again a few more more hours, he woke up when it was already night. He feel totally recovered after sleeping almost all day but the problem was that he won’t probably be able to sleep tonight. He checked his phone again, and saw another message of that boy. He opened wondering if that boy will answer in a funny way again. He was actually really curious about it.

 

 

He laughed again, this boy’s sense of humor was no joke. He kept laughing for a while before deciding what to answer him. He was amazed by the fact that this boy. Well. He already knows his name because it was written on his profile. He was amazed that Taehyun keeps sending random cat memes like he did, and was not mad because a stranger was saying that sent him a message while being drunk. Mino didn't know who was more weird if him for sending random pics or Taehyun for answering him in the same way. But he liked it, he was having fun. So after a few minutes thinking about it, he decided to introduce himself, and see what will happen after that. He was really curious about the boy, he wanted to know more about him.

 

This time the answer came faster, Mino thought it was probably because it was sunday night, and it was dinner time, it’s the moment when almost everyone is lying on the sofa or bed doing nothing, or at least he was always like that during sundays.

 

Maybe taehyun’s answers could look serious but Mino found them cute. He felt like the boy was sincere and actually friendly. It was the first time he felt this comfortable talking with a person he has never met. When he read that he likes fluffy cats he looked at Jhonny, that was lying on his little bed close to him.

 

He could think Taehyun was being rude but instead he was laughing. They keep talking all night, about how he adopted Jhonny, about different cat breeds and which ones were their favorites. When Mino realized it was already more than 2am but they were still talking he felt so amazed. They had been talking for hours and hours. At 3am and after waiting Taehyun's answer for a while Mino finally fell asleep still holding his phone.

He woke up at 10am feeling tired after staying up until so late, but he could feel a smile on his face when he realized he fell asleep while talking with that boy. He looked at his phone and saw a message from him.

 

Mino smiled widely while looking at the screen of his phone. That boy was so damn cute, it was amazing. He couldn't answer him until a few hours later when he was finally done with the work he had to do that day. He wasn’t too busy these days, he worked at a photography studio and his work was basically do the edition of the photos but lately it hasn’t been too much work to do.

 

Anyone would think they have been friends for a long but they met 24 hours ago? Mino felt like talking more about his life and make the other talk more about his, so they can know more about each other. He isn't really interested in people's lifes but he was so curious about this cat boy.

Miro received another message during lunch

Mino realized that Taehyun took a few minutes before sending the last message. He suddenly felt the urge to take care of him.

With each message Mino was feeling more and more curious and fascinated. And they were just sending messages what if one day they finally meet. Mino smiled at that thought, he was already waiting for that day to come soon.

Days passed by and the first thing that Mino did every morning was look at his phone and read every "morning message" from Taehyun. Usually was just a message wishing him a good day at work. Other times it was a rude message telling that it was Mino's fault for keeping him talking until late that he almost fell asleep during his classes.

It has been a few weeks since they started talking and now he knows him better. Mino knows that Taehyun is 22 and he’s on his last year of college, he was studying arts and he lives alone because his family wasn’t from Seoul.

They both have a lot of interest in common, not just in cats, but music and art too.

 

Mino said one day that they should go together to an art exhibition and that he knows about a pub that he may like, and Taehyun answered with a “Yeah, of course, we should go together” but they didn’t talk again about it.

It has been almost a month since they started talking and Mino was really curious about seeing another picture of Taehyun cause the one he has on his profile wasn’t enough to imagine how his face was like.

They weren’t strangers anymore so one day Mino woke up and was totally decided to talk about that with Taehyun, he really wanted to see the boy. He looked at his phone, reading his “now normal” morning message from the younger.

 

By then, it was normal for them to talk like these to each other. Even if they never meet each other, Mino feels he can trust that cat boy. Actually during last 4 weeks they have talked a lot, they know a lot about each other but Mino still wanted to know more about him.

After coming back from work he listened to the song and with a smile on his face Mino opened the chat again

Done. It was the first time Mino shows his face to Taehyun, his profile picture was a painting so Taehyun doesn't know anything about his face. It was afternoon when Taehyun answered

He burst out laughing. Jhonny even got scared by his laughing but that boy was too much to handle "some kind of freak" . But Mino couldn't deny that he was happy, extremely happy, to know Taehyun thought he was "hot" and "handsome"

Another laugh, even louder than before, scaped Mino’s mouth. What the was wrong with this boy? He needed a moment to recover himself before answered but when he was about to do it he realized the boy had send him a photo.

 

“What the ” Mino thought while looking at the photo. Taehyun was a real cat, he was dressed like a cat, a yellow cat.He was the most adorable cat he has ever saw. And he really thinks Jhonny is the cutest cat. It took a few minutes to answer the message and his face was hurting because he couldn’t stop smiling. Taehyun was smiling on the picture and his smile was so bright and beautiful. Mino was falling so deep into that smile, and it was just a picture.

 

Mino doesn’t know for how long he looked at the picture but he could be like that forever. The boy was everything he has been looking for. After seeing Taehyun’s picture he was totally (even more than before) decided to meet the boy.

That was it. It was the first time he was being so obvious about meeting someone. But today was definitely the day, he needed to have a date with that cat boy

 

Mino took a few minutes to send the message, it was now or never and he wasn’t sure about what would happen after it.

 

A few hours passed and Mino didn’t received any answers, he was starting to think he ed it up, but when it was late at night he finally received a message from Taehyun

 

 

After thinking about it the whole week, Mino was about to meet Taehyun. He was late, because he took too long to decide what to wear so he received a message a few minutes before arriving the place where they were supposed to meet.

A few meters away he could recognize Taehyun and a smile was already shining on his face.

 

“Yeah, I’m sorry, I’m late”

 

Taehyun looked at him. At first he looked a little confused but after a few seconds he answered with a soft voice.

 

"You really sound like a ert with that deep voice"

 

Taehyun said, looking at him and Mino just laughed while sitting in front of him.

 

"Stop calling me a ert, people will think weird things. You look better in person but the cat costume was cute"

 

He said with a smirk on his lips and Taehyun couldn't help but laugh, rolling his eyes.

 

"Shut up, I don't know why the I sent you that picture"

 

"You are cute"

 

"You better shut up Hugeboy I still can leave you here alone"

 

They started talking and joking like if they were friends since years ago. It was comfortable to talk with him. He get his jokes, and he wasn't mad about his weird sense of humor, probably because Taehyun’s sense of humor was different too. But it was like a constantly fight about who teases the most.

 

After being at the cafe for a few hours, talking about art, film, music, work and classes, like they were used to talk but not in person, they decided to go on a walk. They were walking for a while, but it was comfortable like it always was with Taehyun. They realized while talking that they live closer than they thought.

 

“Wait, you live here?”

 

Mino asked when they arrived the building where he actually live in, Taehyun nodded and Mino couldn’t help but started laughing

 

“I can’t believe we live in the same building but I never saw you before”

 

“Are you joking? You live here too? What the ?”

 

They both started laughing. They never talked about where they live because any of them was interested, there were too many things to talk about to ask about where they live. But… Living in the same building without realizing it, that was too silly even for them

 

“How is it possible that we never met before if we live this closer?”

 

Mino asked, and Taehyun just shrugged and the both just laughed again.

 

After that day they started meeting every morning. Mino usually goes to work later than Taehyun but he started waking up early just to meet the boy.

Weeks passed by and they were now so used to see each other, Mino finally realized he was in love with that cat boy, at first it was just curious but after seeing him every morning during weeks and weeks he realized it was really love. And he realized that Taehyun was talking even more, and that he was opening himself up to Mino. They never said anything to each other about dating for real but it was like they were already in a relation.

That was enough for Mino, those words were enough to make Mino happy.

 

“Oh, you are really waiting”

 

“Of course, I am, I told you I have something important to ask you”

It has been almost half of a year since they meet. The first time they met was almost 2 months after they started talking and now it has been more than 3 months that they have been dating after that day Mino waited for him like a little puppy.

Mino was being really serious this time, he really loves Taehyun and Taehyun was now part of his life. They even adopted a cat together, and that day Taehyun’s smile could light up the whole world. They take care of Jhonny and the new member of their strange family, Pally. They were now used to sleep at each other’s house, it was like living together but in two different homes. Their relation was weird but they were happy like that, they kept teasing each other, and talking until late but the difference was that now they talked until they fall asleep together.

 

Usually Taehyun left before during weekdays and during weekends Mino left early because of his work.
