“That’s it? That’s all you have information for these group? This lacks information.” Chief complained.
“That’s not all, Chief. Since girls are categorised into groups, those girls categorised in the group must be similar to each other. We’ll be telling you now their similarities.” A worker said.
“Okay then.” Chief agreed.
“They all went in an all-girls-school, which was their practice room. Their parents were all shot and killed in M Agency. Theirs fathers passed away when they were 4 and their mothers 4 years after. They’ve been training here since the death of their fathers and trained even harder after the death of their mothers. Girls’ Generation is now Korea’s Best Female Agent Group. Meaning, they are now Korea’s 9 Best Secret Agents.”
“Impressive.” The Chief said. “How special were their trainings?”
“I’m sorry, sir, what?” Jim asked.
“How special were their trainings?” The Chief repeated. “If they’re that good, they must’ve received some kind of very special trainings.”
“These girls didn’t take any training. Special nor normal, they didn’t do a single one.” Jim said.
“You mean…” The Chief said. “… no training and no one trained them?!” He asked, shocked.
“Yes, Chief.” Jim answered. “Well I meant, no training from the agency. They trained themselves together. No one knows how and where or even when."
“Amazing.” The Chief said, amazed.
“Sir, if it was me, the seek of justice for the deaths of my parents would urge me to be the best of the best, too.” Jim said.
“I know.” The Chief said.
“Please take good care of these girls, Chief.” Jim said. "You'll be their coach from now on. Their first and hopefully, the only one."
“I will treat them like my own daughters.” The Chief promised.
“I don’t know, Sir. These girls might’ve had a tragic past but they still haven’t forgotten about their lives. They’re like kindergartens when off training. But you barely see them laugh. Not to mention, even smile. For years, these girls have only worn frowns on their faces. For years, I haven’t seen the bright smiles of these girls in person, except in photos.” Jim said.
“I’ll try my best to make them happy.” Chief promised again.
“Don’t try to make them happy, Chief.” Jim said. “Make them happy.” Jim said.
“Understood.”
