He is the golden boy that the media loves. A bit of a bad boy, a bit of a charmer, a devoted family man, much appreciated by his extended family for his generosity, a part time social activist and a much loved flower boy movie star. Sometimes he does stir up trouble with his brashness and careless words but people are quick to forgive him when he more than makes up with his good deeds and largesse. He is adored by legions of female fans and graces the covers of fashion and entertainment magazines. His allure is undiminished even though he has often been linked to various female co-stars, all of which, of-course, have been vehemently denied by his agency, his co-stars and the man himself. He is constantly engaged in one project after another. To many, it seems like he is afraid that his fame wouldn’t last and he is dead-set on burning himself out. Only a handful of people know the dark side of him. The demons that plague him, the desperation that leads him to walk on the edge and flirt with madness. They are afraid for him but they can’t be with him all the time to run interference. They needed somebody to be his shadow.

He is as straight-laced as they come. A man without anybody to call his own but admired by those, who know him, for his qualities. He is loyal, uncompromising, efficient, righteous and brave to a fault. Everybody thought he would have made a brilliant leader or an army man. But extremely shy, introverted and a habitual loner in his personal life, he was more inclined to accept a low profile job. His subordinates consider him to be a man’s man, a stoic, strong and brooding tower of restrained physical and mental strength. Disciplined in his habits and thoughts, he leads a monotonous life that could drive a lesser man mad. But he is practical, in certain ways a little naïve and plain vanilla in taste and aspirations. He wants a little home of his own, somebody to come home to, a decent job with modest salary to support his family and live out the rest of his life in peaceful obscurity. Only he didn’t know how his organized life and steady heart are about to be thrown into utter chaos. For the first time he would be forced to question his beliefs, his objectives and his own self. Somebody was about to hijack his life and lead him on a wild ride.

A/N: This is a work of fiction, a figment of my imagination. Any resemblance to any character, living or dead, is purely coincidental. That is, apart from the fantastic chemistry of the onscreen pair from School 2013, which led me to pen this story set in a/u. I have too many irons in the fire, so updates will not be as regular as I wish. But the patient and the interested readers shall be rewarded by my innate stubbornness. I DO NOT DISCONTINUE A STORY. It may take a while but I will finish it. So, hope you will inspire me to write by your encouraging words and subscriptions.
