Soonyoung's tiger-like eyes had been piercing on the same spot for the past 30 minutes. It was already past midnight but he still couldn't come up with the right dots to connect dance formation for their new song. The longer he analyzed the scribbles on the whiteboard the meaningless it became. Part of him begged to give up for today, but most of him feared the consequences and regrets that might eat him up if he wasted the time. 

He could feel his brain was thumping faster than his heart now. 

The performance team leader shook his head, pinched the bridge of his nose in between his eyes, and massaged his forehead, hoping it could regain his focus and coax his brain to cooperate a little longer. Soonyoung looked back up at the scribble, it only took him 5 seconds to turned around and walked away. 

"Uwah, it's really fascinating to watch you work sometimes." A lavender haired figure who had been monitoring from across the room finally spoke up.

"What do you mean sometimes?" Soonyoung asked as he reached Jihoon and sat next to him in front of the practice room computer, then began to search for dancing reference.

Jihoon slided closer on his chair to join the other. "Especially when you're really suffering." He answered bluntly, no hint of hesitation in his voice.

The blonde snorted and chuckled in disbelief, he turned to look at the little devil, "Thank you for your support!!" Soonyoung shouted and playfully sent a light punch on the other's cheek, Jihoon laughed and gladly played along. "Seriously this guy." Soonyoung mumbled before went back to his research.

"Don’t you have a headache?" Jihoon asked after he calmed down.

"Mm, a little."

"Water?" The lavender head lightly pushed his mineral water on the table to reach Soonyoung.

"Ah, thanks." The blonde muttered without averting his gaze from the video on the screen.

Jihoon took a glance at the working man next to him. He didn't lie about being fascinated to watch Soonyoung when he was working. He admitted the performance unit leader sure had his own cool vibe when he was immersed in his passion, sometimes he even craved of that side of Soonyoung, when he was calm and honest to himself, not trying so hard to reciprocate Soekmin's and Seungkwan's jokes. Jihoon still loved his jokes though, while it was lame Soonyoung's jokes had its own art. "Want me to give you a massage?" he offered, which instantly answered with a bright smile from the other.

"Really??!!" Soonyoung exclaimed with exaggerated look. 

Jihoon stood up and slapped the top of the blonde's head in the process, he took of Soonyoung's snapback and wore it backwards before positioning himself behind the working man. "Yes, really." He said and began to massage Soonyoung's scalp.

The performance unit leader closed his eyes and let out a content sigh as those fingers loosened his tensed nerves. Soonyoung let his body relax to the touch. For the last few weeks, it was the first time he let himself giving up his perfectionism. "Do I owe you chicken for this?" He asked, pausing the video on the screen so he could enjoy the massage.

"Oh... you're giving me the idea." Jihoon laughed, his massaging movements became more rigorous and thorough as he was motivated by the offer. "Yes yes, you owe me chicken.... and pizza." 

Soonyoung laughed along in disbelief, "Yah! Don't get ahead of yourself!" 

"Then Jjajangmyun too."

"Yah! Jihoonie!" The blonde was shocked, still laughing nonetheless, he tried to shake Jihoon's hands off his head. "That’s a lot of debt I have to pay! Thank you very much!" Jihoon was too determined now to be wavered.

"It's okay Soonyoung-ssi you don't have to pay them all at once." The lavender head reassured, patting the other's shoulder with salesman manner.

"Hey guys!" A familiar voice called them from the practice room door. The two leaders turned their heads in unison to the source of the voice, "I'm gonna head out first, 'Kay?" Seungcheol continued, Doogi PD was standing next to him, seemed like they just finished a meeting.

"Yeees~" Soonyoung and Jihoon replied obediently.

"Work hard~ Hwaiting~!" Seungcheol added, giving his dongsaengs a bit of his leftover positive energy.

"Yeeeess~!"

"They looked like a married couple." Doogi commented.

"I know, right." Seungcheol replied before closing the door and disappeared.

“We look like a married couple.” Soonyoung chuckled on their hyung's remark. He sat up straight and pressed the play button of the video to continue on his research.

Jihoon snorted, “I know, right.” The lavender head agreed, still diligently massaging the other’s scalp.

The practice room became the only lit space on Pledis building that night, with a lively chat of two passionate men sharing their opinions, thoughts and fondness.
