"Where's Halla?" Jungkook begins to worry, he thought that he would already be at the campsite but she was no where to be seen

"V! Have you seen Halla?" Jane asks V with fear all over her face

"Ani. Why? What happened?"

Jane places two hands on her forehead running to Jungkook "Where's Halla! I called her a million times and she didn't pick up. She usually picks up right away. Tell me she is okay, tell me she is just sleeping in our cabin right now."

"I don't know where she is"

Jane eyes water "tell me you are joking. Jungkook this isn't funny."

"I'm not joking."

"Unnies! Halla is missing" Jane cries, she can't loose Halla

"bwoh??" they all come running with worry visible on their faces

"We have to find her" Minju looks outside "it's only a couple minutes since we left the hiking territory, let's go find her now"

Jane begins to look pale

"Jane, you are pale. You should go rest. We will go find her" V tries to convince Jane

She shakes her head "Halla-unnie needs our help"

"Jane, listen to V stay here" Yuna says seriously before quickly running with to the hiking trail were everyone is right now

-hiking trail-

"do you guys see her?" Minju asks

Jungkook runs off to the last place he saw her remembering that she ran off ahead

Walking past something shines one his face, going closer he recognizes the ring

Picking the ring up he reads "jk<3" it was the same ring that Halla was wearing

Quickly using his flashlight to shine down the hill he sees a familiar body, walking carefully towards it he realizes it's Halla

"Halla!" he picks her up and runs to join their friends "I found her!"

"her head has blood on it!" Yujin inspects the unconscious girl's face laying in his arms

"we need to get her quickly to the camp" Minju says her voice shaking

-back at the camp-

"she has to be okay. She has to be okay" SinB prays

"what's wrong?" Ms. Lee walks in noticing everyone looks frantic

"Halla has just been found unconscious in the woods. Her head hit a tree as she was rolling down the hill and now she's being checked on"

"Bwoh??? Halla?" Ms. Lee quickly rushes to the hospital at the camping site. 'Please be okay.'

-At the hospital-

Jungkook walks around anxiously waiting for the doctor to come out after checking on Halla's condition

Minju sits besides Jimin with her head resting on his shoulders

The doctor comes out "Who is Ms. Halla's guardian?"

"Her guardian is not here but I am her boyfriend" Jungkook rushes up to him along with the others

"I see but currently she will need her parents as well. She didn't sustain major injuries, but minor ones. But because how hard she hit her head on the tree, it may affect her memory."

"Memories? Like recent ones?"

"I will try testing her when she is awake but we are not 100% sure. We infer that she has lost her memory to a certain point of time. You may go check on her, we sent her to room 27B"

"Thank you doctor" Without giving a second though her rushes to her room to see her laying on the bed sleeping peacefully with a bandage on her forehead

"Halla-yah.. Jagiya." He calls for her taking the seat besides the bed, taking her hand "Wake up soon so that I can see your beautiful smile. I will never let anyone or anything hurt you from now on" he kisses her hand

"How is she?" Mrs. Lee rushes in

"She is fine but she may suffer amnesia. I'll leave you two alone" Jungkook stands up "I'll be back Halla"

"I'm sorry my daughter. This is all my fault."

"What are you doing here?" a booming voice is heard "Are you the reason why she is in this mess? Minjung I told you to stay of of my family and now look what has happened"

She turns and sees her angry ex-husband

"Seojun, I didn't mean to tell her"

"Didn't mean to? Sure. Well spend as much time as you want with her because this is the last day you will see her"

"What do you mean 'last day'?"

"Exactly what it means." he shortly says walking out of the room

Tears drip from Minjung's face "I'm sorry Halla" and she walks out of the room letting Jungkook go back in

-2 hrs later-

"Jungkook, you should get some rest"

"Jungkook, you should eat"

"Ani I'm fine. I wanna be besides her when she wakes up. She must be really tired, she's been sleeping for 3 hours already"

Jane looks at V hoping for some help, V shrugs "He's a stubborn one, if this is what he wants then let him be. Jungkook knows what he's doing" V whispers back

Falling asleep while waiting for her to wake up, he feels something moving in his hand

Waking up he realizes Halla is now awake

"Halla, how you feeling? Do you remember me?"

She didn't respond which made his heart stop

"Doctor!" Jungkook was about to stand when she grabbed his wrist and pecked him on the lips

"of course how can I forget my boyfriend?"

"Halla, that scared me"

"It's a good thing that you are awake Ms. Halla. How much do you remember?" The doctor walks in

"I remember up to the part when me and Jungkook finished our picnic at night where I gave him his ring- wait where is mine?" she looks at her hand noticing there is nothing 

"Oh here" Jungkook gives it to her 

"Gomawo, the funny thing is I don't know why I am here and how the ring fell off me- Ow why does my head hurt?" She holds her bandaged forehead

"Jungkook-sshi, she apparently lost some of her memories. Not all of them but the recent ones, try not to stress her out" 

"Neh, kamsamida doctor" he bows to the doctor and notices Ms. Lee coming in

"Oh, annyeonghaseyo Ms. Lee. What brings you here?" Halla asks her normally

"I came to visit you"

"Ah Jinjah? (really?) Kamsamida (thank you!)" Halla smiles

"Hal, I'm going to talk to Ms. Lee outside. I'll be back"

"Oki" She nods

"What did you want to talk about"

"You do know that she doesn't remember you- or actually that you are her mom."

"She lost her memories?"

"Only the recent ones and the doctor says not to stress her out so I beg you not to tell her"

"B-but"

"I'm sorry, goodbye Ms. Lee"

"Jungkook-ah, you should go back to the camp. Don't worry about me" Halla eats the porridge he feeds her

"But I want to take care of you"

"You're adorable" She shows her eye smile "You need to eat too. You're skinnier from the last time I saw you"

"Seeing you makes me full"

"Ahhh, Jeon Jungkook! You are really cheesy!" She cringes "But really I'll be fine, don't worry about me"

"Fine, because you said so. I'll go back. But I'm going to visit you right away tomorrow"

"I won't go anywhere, don't worry" She reassures him watching as he leaves

-Next Day-

Jungkook walks into her hospital to find it all cleaned up, his heart beats quickly.

"Nurse, where did the patient in this room go?"

"Oh her? Her father came to pick her up when she was sleeping after we gave her medicine. I'm not sure if I am supposed to tell you this but I heard something about bringing her abroad since she forgot about her birth-mother or something like that" 

"Oh.. Thank you" Jungkook thanks her turning away as tear spill down his face

"Appa?" Halla wakes up, her head feeling drowsy from the medicine 

Her vision becoming clear now she realizes she is no longer in the hospital bed "Where are we?"

"We are now in New York dear."

Jungkook. That was the only name running their her head right now. She promised him she would't leave "Why?" Halla yelled

"Shh. Let me explain" He shushes her "I got a new job offer here"

"AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN LET ME CHOOSE IF I WANTED TO STAY THERE OR LEAVE?"

"LOOK! Everything I am doing is for your own good. Its either you stay with me or go back to Seoul on your own. Like you would even last without money that I EARN" Her dad was getting mad, she didn't want to go through what she has already been through in the past after what he has done to her.
