Just a note: This is weird

-

After you and sungyeol went out to eat, he brought you to the nearest park on your place. You still feel uncomfortable when with him but there is something about him that you thought you are safe when with him

For the nth time that day, he still asked you: Why are you being like this?

But for nth time also, you still don’t answer him.

 

Yeah at first, you really don’t want to answer him but when he suddenly stared in your eyes, it’s like a magic -you started to talk.

“my mother died early so my father has to marry another woman to fill my mother’s place –but no one can ever replace her here *you put your hand on your chest near your heart* That woman is my step mother now, she has a daughter when my father marry her. That Is Anya and she is 2 years older than me. She used to bully me when my father isn’t around because of my ugliness, she always blabs herself to me…” you trailed off, he moved near you and you moved back. He sighs.

“Continue, I’m listening” he said and you sigh deeply

“Since grade school many students don’t like me, they bully me too. Until I met Hyorin in middle school. She’s the one who change my look but when she transfers school I become as quiet and nerdy again. In our house, I always become like this * you run your hand from head to toe* because of my sister but in school I become the nerdy girl you all know”

 

“What makes you happy?” he said changing the subject; doesn’t want to see you cry a she noticed tears cornering your eyes

“waeyo?”You shrugged, he looked at you making you answer

“Studying” you said, his shoulders deflated and he widened his eyes

“I’m serious come on “he said and folded his arms, you both hear a thunder

“I’m serious too” you said, he pulled you up when the rain started to pour but you insist.

What the?

He thought and pulled you up again. You stand and open your arms to the rain, the both of you are now soaking wet.

You really enjoy the rain that time and it made you feel so light, you remember when you are still with your mom and the both of you are playing and when Hyorin was with you.

You started to run in place and you look up to the sky

I hope this day lasts forever

You thought because of the happiness you are feeling because of the rain. Sungyeol gazed at you while you play like a little girl in the rain, he went near you

She’s so happy

Sungyeol thought

“Well then let me be the one to make you happy, I’m willing.” He hissed

“mwoh?” you looked up to him, you didn’t hear what he said. He wrapped his arms to you. You tried loosing from his grip but he tightens more.

“Let me be the one to make you happy” he repeated

“Sungyeol-ssi?” you said, he tightens more, somehow you feel like hugging him back, for someone to hold you like this makes you feel like you are important.

The people are running in all directions because of the rain but you two stay under the rain.

Suddenly he let go of you and stare in your eyes, he close his eyes and started leaning to you. You gasp very hard but the rain won’t let him hear it. You cupped his face to stop him in what you think he’s trying to do.

“Is this a kind of bet?” you mumbled, he opens his eyes

“What?” he said not hearing what you said

“Is this a bet?” you asked again

“Bet? No! If you think why I’m doing this…well *he holds to the back of his neck* I don’t know either” he said looking down, you widened your eyes in surprise and he gazed at you deeply, and you can tell from his eyes he is sincere to whatever he’s saying.

 “I feel like you are a sort of magnet because I’m attracted to you, from the first time I saw you get bullied in school, I really wanted to help. Your coy personality really attracted me” he said and pulled you to chase him

You didn’t run because there is no point of running.

“yah! Chase me!” he said while wiping his face with his hand then suddenly you saw him dig his hand to the mud in the park and went near you

Is he going to wipe that to me? N-nooooo!!!

 You thought as he moved closer, he cupped your face and kissed the side near your lips

World stops for that very moment in your point of view but that time you didn’t care that he kissed you because your attention is on your face which is full of mud now.

You want revenge so you chase him but before that, you cupped a hand-cup of mud and went chasing him.

He was avoiding you and all----- when you caught him, the end of the game.

You put the mud to his face and the both of you landed on the ground, sitting.

You put more mud to him and he put mud to you too… and it continued like that

“You are now a maple on the mud!!” he said while rubbing his hands to the rain

“And you are a skull on the mud!” you are talking about the design of his shirt

“I’m very happy today” you said but you really didn’t smile or laugh

“Then smile for me” he pinched your chin and pressed his forehead to you while cupping your cheeks, you started to stiffen

“Relax Yunae-ah I’m not going to hurt you, just smile” he said and searched for your hands, you look at it and he started to grin

“Yah! You!!” he was holding a mud and he pressed it in your hands that time

“You looked cute” he pinched your cheeks, you have now mud again on your face

“Yah!” good thing it is raining hard so the mud was just washed away on both of your bodies but not in your clothes and the two of you chased each other again.

The two of you are now laughing like kids

“Hahahahahahaha”

Chasing each others like pre-school students

“Hihihihihi”

 

“Let’s go home” you suddenly said and without noticing you gripped on his arm but when you notice it, you removed it immediately.

But he stopped you and he hold your hand while walking towards his car, you smile and he smile too when he looked at you--noticing that smile

“Is it okay if we ride? You know, we are full of mud” you asked him he just give you a bright beam and an alert nod. Once you get inside, he handed you his jacket he left in the car, you smile again and wrapped yourself to the jacket. Now you feel so comfortable with him like you know him for many years

Will there be any chance for me to be with you again?

 You thought as he drives you home
