09. All That Glitters

You didn’t say anything as we stood in silence. It had been years, Yunho. Didn’t you have anything to say to me? Because I had a lot but I didn’t know where to start or maybe you’re having the same problem with me. Yet, those cold stare you gave me told me something else that was entirely different.

I was still the same way, just like when you left me. There was no new path for me, at least in love, I couldn’t see the future. I tried to find a way out but I didn’t know where I was. I was stuck in a hallucination we made so thick after all those glittery years together.

Crying didn’t help to cure this bitter poison you left me. I became even lonelier as time passed. Time didn’t heal me, Yunho. I couldn’t stop asking why you left me. I didn’t want to go crazy Yunho, so please talk to me. I still wanted to live a long life with you.

Yet, your lips unmoving as your eyes glittered and shone. You didn’t explain a thing as you walked passed me. You took your steps fast without taking any break; not even when my broken voice called your name desperately.

I could hear you soft scoff as your figure disappeared. You hurt me humorously and there’s no answer, Yunho. Why couldn’t you let me be free or at least give me an answer after all these years? 

You said you didn’t know where we were and we’re only drowning in sick hallucination. We had to get out but why would we? I didn’t want to but why did you want such thing, Yunho? 

I was beautiful and that’s the reason you fell for me, you told me. Was I not now? Had you gotten tired of my beauty or were those sweet words only to fool me? You left me without any sanity left; you broke and shattered my heart to dust.

I had enough Yunho. I needed answer and that’s why I finally moved and ran toward the exit. I knew you would be there but I was too late. I could only catch a glimpse of your figure before you drove away your car with someone else on the passenger seat; the spot used to be mine only. 

Why did you have to do this to me, Yunho? Why did you have to bring down this cold star we used to treasure together? Maybe because you’re so magical to me and I couldn’t let you go. Maybe all of this was my fault. I couldn’t find any solution nor did you give a chance to find one.

I didn’t know why you did this; punishing me down with such cold punishment. Yet, I wasn’t going to lose. I would struggle to my last breath and found out why we didn’t work out. I needed answer and maybe I would find a way to go through pass those all glittery memories we had. Because I knew now all those glitters were fake.
