08. Breathing

To Jung Yunho, my other half, wherever you are and whenever you receive this letter.
 
Yunho…It has been a long time…

Holding your hand as we walked through the sand that day, it made me felt so complete; so natural and fulfilling just like breathing the air. I want to run away like that again; go together somewhere no one recognizes us; just the two of us. Yet, such place seems so far away.

I wanted the wrap the sun and gave it to you; but I was only a mortal, Yunho. I could only scream your name without reservation with the sound of the rough waves. That’s how I let our overflowing love known to the world.

Being in such warm place with you was like walking in heaven. Sometime when the world wears me down, I will come back to these memories consisted of the two of us. I hope you will embrace me like old times when everything was beautiful.

I remember how I used to hug you fully against my heart; feeling your hair brushed against my chest as you lifted me up. Waves were crashing in the other side and it was almost like we were at the end of the world. You said that love was crazy and I could not disagree. Even the wind felt our undeniable feelings and excitement.

Our love is everlasting, no matter how far we’re. Our love is like our own breath. All I have is you and it is the same for you, I hope. This love is the one keeps us alive even though we’re separated by thousand miles. 

These memories keep me sane and someday I’d love to make more with you, Yunho. I can only wait and hope for such day to come. Because deep inside I know, you’re the only one I need. That’s why I wrote this song on the back of this letter for you, Yunho. It’s titled ‘Breathing’ because you’re my air.
