05. Good Luck

Jaejoong had enough. He felt like he wanted to puke. It had been years and he knew more years would come. All those sweet talk tasted sour in his tongue. He had taste them till he’s sick. Laughing was the best way to shake it off; pretend he’s an innocent angel everyone thought he was.

No, Jaejoong wasn’t flawless. He had darkness inside of him and he hated the way those people looked clean outside. People just didn’t know how corrupted they were, yet. Jaejoong knew he wasn’t 100% honest but at least he still had his integrity.

Kim Jaejoong was stunning and he knew he drove every woman’s heart crazy, or at least his fangirls or maybe some fanboys. People wouldn’t dare to glare on him as they would be melted. Jaejoong had this aura he had taken control so well after years of practice. That’s why few knew the real him.

That’s exactly why he’s writing the first song that described the real him inside now. At least, the glimpse of it. He scribbled and turned them into proper song and melody. Then, he let his manager, Yoochun and Junsu listened to it. Four of them were inside the recording studio via Jaejoong’s request.

As soon as the song finished, Yoochun clapped his hands, Junsu was trying to stop his laughing, and his manager’s eyes almost popped out from his socket. Why? Because Jaejoong just wrote a song to indirectly throw sarcasm toward his last company, who had been blocking their ways until now.

“They’re not Confucius or Mencius, they’re moron…” Jaejoong repeated his point to their manager,” They can smile blocking our ways but we’re here as JYJ. This will be a good song, hyung.”

“I’m totally agree with that!” Junsu was cheering as he also had tried to spell his vexation to their old company with his songs,” I’m totally going to include this in your album, hyung! Daebak!”

“Sure,” Yoochun was a bit calmer,” You sure go all way down to the S.M. trainee, huh?”

“Ehh?” the manager and Junsu chorused.

“This part here ‘Pitiful, live recklessly…blablabla….hyung will tell you one more thing….’,” Yoochun explained,” Some fans might think Jaejoong hyung is talking about Yunho hyung and Changmin, but Yunho hyung never calls Jaejoong as hyung and Changmin---that brat---has no respect whatsoever. So this’s directed to the younger generation from our last company, right?”

 “Fine, whatever, it’s your album,” the manager gave up when Jaejoong nodded,” You can do whatever you want. All I can see are conspiracy theories here, no mentioning any name or anything…Just…Pretend this session never happen because I will have trouble if anyone finds out the real meaning of this song.”

“Sure, I love conspiracy theories, especially the one our fans made!” Jaejoong gave a wide smile and so did Junsu. The three of them did high five before Jaejoong continued showing them his other tracks. Deep down, Jaejoong couldn’t imagine Yunho’s and Changmin’s face once they heard this song. He might even get a thumbs up from them.
