So yeah, its been a week after the commotion in the café. I was advised to rest and not go to school since I have broken ribs. Sulli manage to visit me after class to hear her practice. Krystal and the others visited too but we never practice when they’re here. Our song is a secret. So mi spent my time writing songs since I can’t go out and Fany unnie said I can’t work until I’m healed which is by the way I am fine now. Today is our recital, I’m nervous since its my first to perform in a large crowd. It’s kinda sad that I don’t have someone to watch me. Most of the parents are here with some other members of the family but its alright, atleast they can see how awesome I am. (insert smirk)

We will be the last to perform in accordance to the random picking of performers. I was watching other performances and I grimaced at the song Kai made, its awful. The watchers are not interested already. We never practice at school, you just perform it in the recital then will be graded by Ms. Kim and other faculties of the Music Program. After watching several performances, we are next already.

“Hyung! Fighting!” Sulli cheered

“Sure! Let’s do this” I grabbed a guitar and nod at the band. Sulli started.

We watched the audience who was happy listening to our song. I can see it from their faces. Sulli and I smiled at each other for a job well done for our first recital. I looks at Ms. Kim, she gave us a thumbs up and Fany unnie is smiling. I smiled back at them too. After the song, we left the stage and SUlli was gushing how cool it was.

“Hyung! That was so cool! I thought I was gonna be nervous but it fade away!” Sulli exclaimed

“I know right? You enjoyed it?”

“Yep! Mom and Dad was watching and they’re smiling at me, Henry is there too!” She really is excited. We were talking or more like she’s talking and listening when Krystal and Suzy approached us. Luna is currently performing and I admit, her voice is beautiful.

“Nice song! Sul, Amber!” the two said.

“Thanks” I smiled shyly. My crush complimented me.

“Hyung wrote the song Ain’t it fun. We had a recorded version.” Sulli said.

“Yeah, we recorded our song so we can play it at home” I said. Luna finished her performance then their parents approached us, except Krystal’s dad is not present, Mrs. Jung explained that he has a meeting since the performance started at noon. Henry approached me. “Hyung! That was awesome! Can I sing with you too? Please??”

“Sure, next time, I promise. You can sing with me if its okay with your mom and dad”

“So you’re the hyung he’s been talking about” Mr. Choi said

“Yes, sir though I’m a girl. He said I’m too handsome to be a noona so I just let him be” I explained.

“What’s your name?”

“Amber Liu sir”

“Are you in any case, related to…” I didn’t let him finish

“I have nothing sir, no parents, just me”

“Oh, I’m sorry about that” he apologized

“Its no problem sir, its better this way. I’m used to it” He was confused at my answer.

“Well, its nice meeting you and you really had a good song. I admit, your performance was the one I enjoyed the most together with these girls’ performances. And its fine by me, if Henry wants to sing with you” Henry was celebrating for what her heard.

“Thank you sir” he then went back to his family and I was left alone. I was about to leave when somebody approached me.

“I heard you wrote the song. I’m Kwon Yuri by the way. Brother-in-law of Krystal” he shook my hand

“Yes, I did sir. Amber Liu”

“Can I ask for a favor? I can also pay you for this”

“Name it, you didn’t have to pay me. It’s a favor”

“Can you write a song for me, for my wife and I’s wedding”

“You’re getting married again? Sure, I can write it”

“We never had a church wedding, so we planned it late. Can you sing it also, I like your voice” he explained

“Sure, when is the wedding? So I can start writing it, but pardon me asking this, can you describe your wife for me? or you can tell me how you met? So I can write a song pertaining to her.”

“Sure, can I meet you instead? How much is it going to be?”

“No, no need to pay me. Consider this a gift for your wedding. We can meet at Fany Unnie’s Café. You know it right?”

“Sure, Tiff and Sica are bestfriends. Can you keep this a secret?”

“Sure, no problem sir”

“Just call me Yul. Thanks again” He handed me his business card.

“Its no problem” then he went back to his family.

“Hyung! Let’s go to the café! Fany unnie said we’ll celebrate” Sulli shouted.

“Sure! Coming!”

We celebrated our first successful performance and Ms. Kim or she would prefer, Taeyeon, Taengoo or Taeng. She asked me to call her that if we’re not in school. She talked to me about my song writing and everything. Before we knew it, it was closing to 10 pm already so they decided to go home. I admit it was a nice experience, I felt like I belong then. I decided to stay since I have to start working again but Fany unnie said I should rest and start again next week but I refused since I missed working so she let me be. It was almost midnight when I was throwing the thrash when I heard a commotion in the alley next to the dumpster. The lights are dim so no one can see it clearly and since less people are out. I heard a man saying something about help and I noticed that I was the only one to help so I rushed.
