If there was one thing Sehun looked forward to each and every day—just one thing—it would have to be food. Now, this may not seem very surprising, given that he is a growing teenage boy, but there were not many other things that seemed to compare with his love for the sweet, and the savory—anything that managed to please his taste buds.

Sure, he had close friends. Sure, he loved his family… and video games… and movies… and all sorts of other ways of occupying his time. But when he was seated in third period, stomach grumbling and begging to be noticed—his mind (and stomach, obviously) was focused solely on getting something inside of him (and no, it was not a . he hadn’t had those kind of thoughts yet; believing himself to be 101% heteroual).  

Sometimes, Sehun missed breakfast—whether it be a result of oversleeping or mere forgetfulness—and there were times where his stomach rumbled so loudly that he swore the entirety of his class could hear it.

Today was one of such times.

And if that weren’t bad enough already, seeing as his stomach hadn’t been gifted anything besides water since the previous evening, he had seemed to skip the step that entailed placing his wallet into his backpack, rather than abandoning it on his dresser. And this meant that he had no way of obtaining food. Whatsoever.

He stared pitifully down at his phone, which was set out along the tabletop; scrolling aimlessly through one of several social media feeds—he liked to alternate, because it made things marginally less boring.

His morose state wasn’t evident just by way of his eyes—no, although he may not be aware of it, his lips were formed securely—jutted out—in the smallest, most adorable of pouts.

“Are you not eating, Hun-ah?” Baekhyun, was, of course, performing the act that was questioned of Sehun. He was even speaking with his mouth full, something that caused Kyungsoo to scoff in disgust despite it being a common occurrence.  

“I’m not hungry.” Sehun lifted his head, making sure to force his face into an expression of indifference, which he tended to do both when lying and when attempting to hide his emotions, especially the more sensitive, “weaker” ones.

“Oh.” Baekhyun didn’t think much more of it, Jongdae and Junmye
