Up until now, I have only enjoyed reading Super Generation fanfics during my spare time. Truth be told, I don't really have that much time because I am a very busy person, but I finally decided to start writing my first fanfic because I was inspired by the cute little interactions, or the lack thereof, of the Super Junior and Girls' Generation members during the year-end music festivals and award ceremonies. I am actually an ELF (not a SONE), but I ship Super Generation couples. I find their interactions too cute for words and that finally convinced me to put my mixed-up thoughts into writing.

I originally wanted to do a high school romance kind of story, but I had a change of mind. Haha! I have been looking closely (and investigating a bit) at how they've interacted as two of the biggest groups of the same management agency these past few years and have noticed that, indeed (yes indeed!), there is a big possibility that maybe (just maybe), at least one out of the many Super Generation couples that fans ship is actually real. We may not know or it may not come out anytime soon (maybe in the years to come when all is said and done), but why do I feel that there is at least one couple who is dating? I don't know if I am just being delusional or anything, but I am just merely stating my observation. Most of them, if not all, have been friends for years. You may have probably heard of rumors here and there about how some of them have dated before (e.g., Donghae and Jessica or Eunhyuk and Hyoyeon) or how it is so obvious that some of them have developed some kind of feelings for each other after their debut while carrying out their overlapping cycle of promotions and activities (e.g., Leeteuk and Taeyeon and Sunny and Sungmin...maybe Donghae and Yoona, Siwon and Tiffany or Siwon and Sooyoung, and most recently, of course, Kyuhyun and Seohyun).

I have my own Suju Gen OTPs that I ship (consciously or unconsciously) or I have been shipping for the last three years or so, so I wondered what it would be like to make a fanfic with a totally made-up story of how the past relationships (or frustrated relationships) of the boys and the girls went (and the current statuses of their relationships of course). Based on fan accounts and their TV interviews, I started to conceptualize a story of my own by connecting the dots and reading between the lines. I have used the Chinese Proverb about "The Red String" as the theme of the story with the mindset that no matter how many scandals or possible relationships these people have had, currently have, or will still have in the future outside of Super Generation, they will end up together if it is what's truly meant to be. I have also incorporated my wild imagination and wishful thinking in most parts of the story, so I hope that you won't mind my being a klutz. Haha! And lastly, since this is my first fanfic, I hope that many Super Generation shippers (even those who are not are welcome) like me will read it and help me improve the story as it progresses. I am also thinking of making polls for readers to vote from time to time, so that I would know what to write (or what direction to take) in case I will run out of ideas. Hahaha! XD
