Trying new things, hope it doesn't get too confusing. This is still Hyukjae's POV

Isn’t it super awkward when your best friend gives a random gay dude your number and tells him to call you, and the guy actually does call you and you set up a “study” date, but you know there won’t be any studying if you know what I mean. And because you haven’t had in a year you get overly excited and shave yourself all over and give your a good cleaning just in case. And then you’re knocking on his door, no books or anything, the bag is just for show and all you packed was lube and condoms.

And then you see the books scattered on the desk and the reading glasses he’s wearing and you realize the dude actually freaking meant it when he offered as your physics tutor.

AWKWARD.

So he gave me a physics class, and although I wasn’t in any particular need of it, it was not as unproductive as you may think. I’m good solving the equations and applying the formulas, you know, math; but I never bothered to understand the theory behind the phenomena and he had a very easily understandable and interactive way of explaining it. The afternoon was actually quite enjoyable and his personality isn’t as bad as I thought. He’s not the one dimensional character I pegged him as, there’s more to him than just being the arrogant know it all. Sure he’s quite full of himself, but aren’t we all, he’s just not afraid to say it aloud and I’m kinda liking it because I could never in a million years talk as confidently as he does and i kind of… admire his bravery.

He was also very passionate about the subjects and that’s kinda cute, it was adorable to see his eyes light up when he was explaining a complex theory and then had me do the math and the result was as predicted, he’d get all excited and be like “Isn’t it exciting when numbers can predict the world so accurately”, “Math is so perfect, it’s never wrong” and then he’ll go on a tangent talking about how beautiful the universe is and other things that I usually don’t care much about but his love for it is contagious.

In the end I went back home as ually frustrated as I had come, but now I have a new friend.

But you didn’t expect me to tell my roommate the truth, did you?

I would never hear the end of it if I told him we just studied physics and talked a bit about astrophysics. So of course I told him we slept together, probably not my wisest decision because sooner than later he’ll know I lied.

Since he asked, i had to tell him I topped, because where is my pride if I hadn’t?

And then he asked how it went and I told him it was great, because where is my pride if I hadn’t?

Then he asked if his was as tight as it looked and I was like “DUDE!” but I told him either way.

Then he asked who finished first and I wanted to die by this point but I still told him he did because where is my pride if I hadn’t?

I believe by now you understand that I’m too proud to admit to him or even myself that I failed at seducing Donghae and we ended up doing math together instead. Which I already said I enjoyed, but of course he won’t see it that way.

And it wasn’t even my idea! He literally went and- *brrrrrr* - hold on a second, I got a text.
