Jaerin's Last Hours and memories!

Jaerin's Last Fallen Tears! :)

Jaerin & Junsu

The end of the school day was nearing, and Jaerin was sitting in the university cafeteria for over an hour now, studying for her finals.

The cafeteria wasn't busy that afternoon, and she was also waiting for her brother Jaejoong to pick her up for dinner, thus the reason why she picked a seat in front of the tall glass windows.

She had her back faced to everyone else, even though her eyes were focused on her homework sheets, she couldn't help but stare at the winter snowflakes fluttering from the sky.

"Excuse me, miss?" She peeks over her shoulder as she felt a body sitting next to her. She couldn't help but stare at his beauty: porcelain pale skin, bright gold hair and deep chestnut eyes.

She gulped and smiled. "Hmmm?"

"You look like you can use a coffee right about now." He smiled sweetly, pulling out some change from his jeans.

"Would you like me to get you one?" She watched his handsome face as his eyebrows raised with curiosity.

She bites her lips and hurriedly glanced out the window to check if her brothers car was in view.

She didn't want to refuse the kind mans offer, there is something familiar about him and her heart was beating fast.

Jarin turns back to face the kind stranger and nodded her head.

"Sure, that would be lovely. But I can pay, no worry." She held his fingers and pushed his arm back towards his chest, taking out spare change from her own pocket.

"Are you...sure? I don't mind, how do you take your coffee?" She shook her head and he stood up, waiting for her to answer.

Once she gave him her order, the young man disappeared out towards the cafeteria area where you order food and drinks.

Jarin couldn't help but blushed and glad he was gone before it creeped up on her face. She turned back to her papers, but her mind couldn't get away from the man who offered to buy her a beverage.

Who was he? Why did he want to buy her a drink?

He returned several minutes later, and she noticed he had a bagel in his hands.

"Here you go, miss?" He set the coffee down and tilted his head, waiting for her to reply.

"Jaerin. Kim Jaerin." She held out her hand and the man shook it gently.

"Ahh, that's a lovely name. Mine is Kim Junsu. Is it ok if I eat this with you? I didn't have my lunch yet and I'm starving."

Jaerin smirked and agreed, patting the empty spot beside her.

"Of course, but I won't be here very long. My brother is picking me up for dinner." Jaerin explains. She started tidying up her pile of papers so the man can have more room to eat as he slipped in the seat next to her.

"Oh that's ok. I need to get my essay started on myself. What are you studying?" Jaerin groaned, not wanting to think anymore about school.

"Anthripology and geography. It turns out I'm failing those two subjects." Jaerin says, pouting.

Junsu gave her a sympathetic look.

"Why'd you take those subjects then? They're pretty difficult." Junsu said, spreading the creme cheese on the bagel. He took a quick bite and watched Jaerin twitch nervously in her chair at his question.

"I dunno, I thought they would be interesting. My appa was good at geography and wanted me to learn it." Junsu nodded in understanding.

Jaerin watched the young man eating happily beside her and thought he was beyond adorable.

The way his blonde hair glowed in the winter sun, and how he cutely bites into the hard bread, getting cream cheese spread on his face. She spotted a dab in the corner of his mouth and her lips, wanting to brush it off.

The more Junsu kept eating his late lunch, the more cream cheese he got all over his lips, and cheeks.

Jaerin blushed and she even offered him a sip of her coffee, since he didn't buy himself anything to wash it down. She didn't know how is was possible that they were perfect strangers and yet she felt completely comfortable around him.

She felt as though they have been friends for eternity and yet, she never met or seen this man named Kim Junsu in her university before. Ever.

"Is there, anyway I can help? You know,I've tutored a few of my classmates this year, and they managed to get A Plus's right when they were about to fail." Junu said, leaning closer to Jaerin.

She held her breathe and could smell his strong scent of men's cologne, it was quite overwhelming at first.

He winked at her, and Jaerin couldn't help but smile brightly.

"Uh, sure. I'll have to talk it over with my brother, Jaejoong. He's really over protective of me, especially when it comes to making friends with guys." Jaerin says, chuckling nervously.

Junsu finished the last of his bagel, and the two talked for another ten minutes. The two got along swimmingly.  They learned a lot about each other.

Jaerin was sad when her brother Jaejoongs car rolled up in front of the cafeteria window, she waved at him and happily got her paperwork stuffed into her school bookbag.

Junsu stood up and stopped her briefly, not ready to let her go just yet.

"Can I...give you my number? Maybe we can start the tutoring this weekend?" Junsu bravely asked. Jaerin handed him her phone while she zipped up her bag.

"Where is it that you live, Junsu?" Jaerin can't help but question.

"Actually I don't live far from here. Only a ten minute drive." Junsu explained. He finished typing his name into Jaerins contact list, and gave her back her phone.

He stood up abs gave her a bright warm smile.

"Dont get too cold out there." He said. Jaerin didn't know why but his smile seemed sincere and yet she swore she saw him on the edge of tears.

He turned to leave. "Yea, you too."

"I'll call you later. See you." With that, Junsu had left and the butterflies in Jaerins stomach vanished as well.

She hurried out of the now empty cafeteria hall to meet her brother before he had a hissy fit about taking so long.

~~~~~~~
{In the car)
Jaerin greeted her older brother Jaejoong as she opened the passenger door and tossed her bag on the black soft carpet.
"Hi oppa! Thanks for picking me up!" Jaerin said with a cheerful tone. Jaejoong smiled and nodded his head.
"Sure thing Jaerin sii. But before I take you home I want to ask you..."  Jaejoong asked. Jaerins smile turned into a frown when she saw his face turned angry.
"Who is that punk I saw talking to you in the window?" Jaejoong scoffed.
Jaerin's heart beat fast even at the mention of Junsu, and she her lips nervously. Should she tell him the truth, that he is her new friend, or that he was just sitting beside her because there was no one in the cafeteria and he wanted a companion to study beside?
She shook her head. "H-his name is Junsu, Kim Junsu I think he said. He's my friend, and he's really nice. I think you'd like him." Jaerin explains, her amber eyes glittering at the thought.
Jaejoong shrugged his shoulders, and turned the keys in the ignition, letting his engine roar back to life.
"I told him I was having trouble in a certain subject, and well...he offered to tutor me...tonight."
Jaejoong nearly stepped on the breaks at that, luckily they were still in the school parking lot.
"BWOH? Are you crazy?! You just met him Jaerin! You don't really know he could be a total creep!"
"Oppa, he's not. Trust me. I'm going weather you will drive me or not." Jaerin said, pouting cutely.
Jaejoong wanted to claw her friends eye out, and he knew he wouldn't win against his sisters all mighty stubborn ways. He sighed in defeat.
"Arassso. Just, call me every hour ok?" Jaejoong demanded, his knuckles turning white from gripping onto the steering weel.
Jaerin sighed and agreed, shaking her head.
"Alright, I guess that's fair..." Jaerin mumbled. Jaejoong smirked in victory.
"Now, where do you want to eat for supper?"
: Later that day at Junsu's house:
Junsu was beyond happy that Jaerin agreed to come to his dorm for tutoring lessons. He was surprised that her older brother, Jaejoong didn't like the idea at first, even though they were close friends.
Maybe it's because they hadnt kept in contact for so long after the accident...
Junsu bounced excitedly to open the door for Jaerin and he let her inside.
"Wow, your condo is so cute and very clean." Jaerin said, eyeing the place as she took off her winter jacket. She was shivering in the doorway and struggling from being frozen outside that she had a hard time ing her coat.
"Here, let me help you! You look like a walking snowman!" Junsu laughed. He pushed Jaerin's hands away and ped the coat after doing the buttons, and he swiped his fingers along her shoulders to get rid of the frozen snowflakes.
Jaerin laughed. "Why thanks, Junsu oppa!" Junsu's brown orbs light up light a Christmas tree and he smiled so warmly Jaerin swore she saw love in them.
'Its been a long time since I heard her say that' He thought to himself.
"Oppa, did you hear me?"
"Y-you called me...me oppa?" Junsu said, stunned. Jaerin nodded and took off her boots, setting her coat in the hallway closet.
"Ne, is..that alright with you Junsu?"
Junsu agreed, shaking his head violently. "Ne, of course." He took Jaerins school bag and he led her out to the kitchen.
"So, where should we start?" Jaerin set her binders and papers on the kitchen table, then turned to her new friend.
"How about a tour?" She grinned. Junsu smiled and lead the way. He showed her every room in his dorm,and Jaerin made small, appraising compliments. She really thought he took good care of the place and seemed very impressed.
She was even shocked when Junsu agreed to show her his bedroom. He made a simple joke that made her laugh.
"Just don't go in my underwear drawer." When she did laugh, Junsu's heart fluttered and he felt whole again. It's been forever since Jaerin was in his apartment, and he hoped this would bring back memories.
Jaerin looked all through Junsu's pictures of his family and friends, all on the walls and sitting on his table tops. One picture caught her eyes, and she couldn't stop staring at it, especially when she thought her reflection matched the woman behind the frame.
It was a picture of Junsu and a beautiful woman smiling together while standing on a cliff side, holding each other in the bright warm sun.
Jaerin thought the woman looked similar to her, and she couldn't help but pick up the silver frame to get a closer look at it.
Her heart started beating fast and her fingers shook as she grasped it.
"I-I-is this your girlfriend, Oppa? She's really pretty!" Jaerin said. Junsu's lips pursed into a smile and he drew closer to her, nodding his head in agreement.
"N-ne. I went to school with her since grade 11." Junsu explained.
"We...just started going to college together." Junsu said, stepping closer to Jaerin.
He desperately wanted to wrap his arms around her. To kiss her, to hold her and tell her how much he truly loved her. But he held back, and watch her stare back at the picture they took at mountain trail they took when they went on a trip to Jeju Island last summer.
"She goes to our collage?" She asks...Junsu nodded, and bit his lips.
"I wonder if I've seen her around?" She asked, glancing from Junsu's serious expression down to the picture again.
"Yes I'm sure you have. I actually saw her in the cafeteria today..." Junsu said, his chest clenching.
He held his breathe, and Jaerin looked up at him, shocked and confused.
"S-she was in the cafeteria?" Junsu nodded again, and stepped even closer.
He decided to take the plunge, and see what happened when he told her.
"I saw her sitting in front of the cafeteria window while studying. I thought she could use some company and so I walked up to her, and offered to buy her a coffee. Hoping, she would remember me." Junsu's eyes filled with tears and hope.
Jaerins eyes widened and she dropped the picture, causing it to shatter to the floor.
"B-Bwoh? Wh-what are you s-saying oppa?" Jaerin asked. She knew the story was familiar, but not familiar enough to remember him.
"i sat down beside me and told me about her appa who was good at geography and how she was struggling with the subject."
Jaerin was stepping back towards the door, her fingers trembling and knees growing week.
She didn't understand what he was saying...was this whole thing real, or just a dream?
Junsu stopped talking, and he was inches away from Jaerins lips. She didn't know if the whole thing was true, so she stayed put. She wanted to listen to what he had to say, for his eyes was pleading for her.
"Jaerin...don't you remember me? The picture, I thought for sure you would." Junsu grabbed her hand and led her into the living room.
"Here, take a look at these ones!" He demanded, his fear eating him inside.
Jaerin explored the main floor of the condo, and she looked at all their photos. She did have a familiar sense when she was around him, but no memories of the past with him. No matter what he told her.
Junsu broke down into tears, and slumped to his knees in sorrow.
Jaerins heart shattered and she bent down on her knees in front of him, desperately wishing she could remember and make him smile. She didn't like seeing him in such a mess.
She crawled towards him and grazed her finger across his warm cheeks. His bangs covered his hurting gaze, and she lifted his head up.
"O-oppa, please don't cry! I don't like seeing tears in your eyes."
Junsu's arm raised up and he gently placed his palms over the back of her hand, rubbing it as he sobbed continuously.
He suddenly got an idea and stared at her lustfully. Jaerin was almost frightened.
"Kiss me!" Junsu said in a hurried breathe. His eyes twinkled, and he held onto Jaerin's porcelain, perfectly placed high cheek bones.
Jaerin's brown eyes widen in shocked, and her words fell silent.
"B-Bwoh?" She stutters. She tried crawling away but Junsu fiercely held her back and pushed her forcefully into his chest, holding onto her as if his life depended on that one kiss.
"Kiss me, now. Right here. If a picture doesn't bring back your memory, maybe a kiss will." Junsu explained.
"A-Arasso." Jaerin closed her eyes and before she could prepare her lips Junsu had aggressively grabbed the back of her head and crashed their lips together.
She kissed him back and could feel all the passion and love against his perfect lips.
He across and she opened it, letting him stick his tongue inside his breathe hit inside her cheeks, and she can't help but moan out loud at his roughness.
His hands trailed across her waist in a tight hug and if it wasn't possible for them to be any closer, he pushed her tightly against his beating heart.
Just then Jaerin's eyes flew open as memories danced in her head, but only for a split second.
She did remember; from the day when Junsu confessed to her at the park, to their first date, through all their college days since the accident.
The memory of the car accident where she hit her head and lost her memory flashed through her vision, and she was stumped.
Junsu tried to kiss her as long as possible but when he opened his eyes and saw the shock look on her face and he pulled away, not liking the brief moment they were apart.
"Jaerin ah, did you....have a memory?" Junsu asked, hope filling his heart. Jaerin bites her lips and tears fill her eyes.
All she did was remain silent end nod her head. She didn't know what to feel.
She stood up and went to collect her things, Junsu following her in confusing.
"Jaerin, Wh-where are you going?" Junsu asked, feeling his body tremble in fear.
"I..have to think about th-this Junsu oppa. I...I..."
She couldn't finish her sentence. She swung her bookbag over her shoulder and left Junsu's house. She was walking quite fast, and Junsu decided to follow her.
"Jaerin, wait!!! It's too cold...let's talk about this." Junsu tried to get Jaerin's attention, but nothing worked. Jaerin text her brother to pick her up and she kept walking.
Junsu caught up to her and swung her around, wanting her to hear him out.
Her cheeks burned by the frost and tears flooded her eyes.
"Aniyo oppa, let me go!" Jaerin screams, trying to slap her hands away from Junsu's forced attempts.
Junsu didn't let go. He couldn't. He didn't want to. They struggled, and never saw the on coming car speeding down the icy road.
Jaerin flung Junsu off of her and took a trembling step backwards. Junsu's eyes widened and his whole world came crashing down when his beloved Jagiya was hit by the speeding car!
His heart shattered, and what made him feel more terrible, is that the driver kept speeding without stepping to see how she was.
Jaerin crashed to the frozen blanket of snow on the ground beneath her, and Junsu screams out in agony as she crashed to the Earth.
Someone had called the ambulance, but Junsu wasn't focused on his surroundings. Only the hurting pain in his soul, and closed fist.
He fell in front of Jaerin's limp body and saw she had gone on conscious. He's hook her violently as his hand brushed across her cold face.
"Jagiya, wake up!" He ordered, tears stinging his eyes.
He couldn't believe it. He managed to get her to remember him and now this...he was losing er.
He shook her even more, his anger building to the surface. He was becoming delusional about what was happening.
"Jagiya! Jaerin! PLEASE WAKE UP!" By now a crowd of pedestrians formed a circle around Junsu and Jaerin's lifeless body. Everyone was crying or felt sorrow for the young man's lost.
With his last strength, Junsu tossed his head back and screamed at the top of his lungs.
"JAERIN! P!EASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!"
