Changmin and Ara Shim were inseperable by birth. They were like two pease in a pod. Never one withouut the other. Growing up, they were always by each others side. They ate together, did their homework together, cheated in tests together, in the same class together, they even Shared the same bed! Changmin went to audition with SM Entertainment, A highly famous Entertainment company that debuted Famous artist such as SHINHWA, H.O.T. and BoA. But in order to do this, he had to, for the first time, leave Ara's side. After months of training and hard work, Changmin debuted under the soon to be famous group, Dong Bang Shin Ki, also known as The Gods of the East. Ara of course, felt betrayed. All those months of Changmin training, he forgot about Ara completely. Just as Changmin rushed home to tell Ara about his debut with the group, he came home to find his mum, and the news of Ara leaving the country to live with a close family friend in Japan. With this piece of news, Changmin was left devestated. he new he couldn't leave for Japan to apolojise, or else he would just be throwing away months of hard work. So in the end, He left Ara to be and debuted. After a year of performing, SME announced DBSK's debut in Japan. Upon this news, Changmin was the most excited. After a Year of waiting, he would finally meet his sister! Once his arrive in Japan, He headed straight towards where his sister was staying, only to find an empty house. Apparently, they were on holiday in Italy! Changmin left with a heavy heart, and everyday, even if he had a full scedule, he would go back to the house to check wether they came back or not, but it seemed Changmin wasn't in luck. They never came back in the due course of Changmin's stay. After this, Changmin lost hope completely. He knew his sister wouldn't forgive him anyway. What he didn't know, was that all these years, Ara was hurting just because she couldn't stand not being in touch with Changmin. So, In the end, she felt compelled to be with him.
