Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook had quite the history together.    After situating in Daegu straight after birth, Jungkook was introduced to Taehyung. The two happened to live across the street from each other and when Taehyung's mother noticed the Jeon family moving in, she went to greet them. Coincidentally, the two homes had children near the same age with Taehyung being only slightly older. From then on, the two did everything together. Kindergarten to the present senior year in high school students.    They've been through many good times as well as many bad times. The pair was inseparable. They were like brothers, with an even tighter bond than brothers. The two knew each other better than their parents knew them.    Unfortunately, their friendship was going to be put to the test. Jungkook had been accepted as a trainee to BigHit, a dream that he's had since he was born.     Everything happened to take a turn for the worst after that.      --     "TAE!"    Jungkook yelled as he tackled his best friend standing in front of the school.    Jeon Jungkook had just received the greatest news in his life.    He was in.    He made it.    Jungkook had received confirmation that he had made it into BigHit Entertainment as a trainee. The young teen couldn't believe it. His greatest dream was going to come true. He's always wanted to sing, inspire millions and now he had his chance.    "Woah, Kookie! What's up?" Taehyung asks, the younger usually showed affection towards the elder, but today he was absolutely shining with happiness.    "Tae! I made it! I got in!" Jungkook yelled. And with that, a painful feeling in the pit of Taehyung's stomach grew.    Of course Taehyung supported his life long best friend's dream in becoming a singer 100 percent but he had a bad feeling about it.    The idea that Jungkook leaving and forgetting about him terrified Taehyung. But he would never voice that opinion. He loved Jungkook too much to discourage him from his greatest wish.    Yes, Taehyung loved Jungkook. More than just their friendship stage. It was more than that. Taehyung loved Jungkook in a way that far surpassed friendship, unfortunately Taehyung knew Jungkook would never return his feelings. Taehyung didn't want to risk his lifelong friendship for a stupid crush. Even if to him it wasn't just a 'stupid' crush.    "Jungkook, that's amazing! I'm so happy for you, I knew you were going to make it!" He said, putting a genuine smile on his face, the painful feeling growing in his stomach.    "Tae I can't believe this is happening I've wanted this for such a long time!" Jungkook replies, tears growing in his eyes.    Taehyung embraces Jungkook in a tight hug and lets his tears start. Tears cascade down Taehyung's cheeks silently and Jungkook hugs him back.    "But Tae..." Jungkook says, pulling away from Taehyung to wipe his tears, "I have to leave Friday.."   Taehyung looked at Jungkook in shock. It was Wednesday and his best friend was leaving him in two days?    "B-But that's so soon Jungkook! What about school?" Taehyung questions, asking a valid question. They were in the middle of their senior year and entrance exams were right around the corner.    "I've been enrolled in a school in Seoul. I get to live in the trainee building. I get to take the work home and do it and about the entrance exam... I don't know.. since I'm going to be a singer I don't think I need to prepare that much.."   "Woah Jungkook! Seoul?! What happens if this whole singing thing doesn't work out? I know it to say it but you can't put all your eggs in one basket. This is your future." Taehyung says, he didn't want to trample on his loves dream but he had to be realistic. Many horror stories of people putting their all into an entertainment company for it not to amount to anything and all those people are left nothing.    Jungkook gapes at his friend. How could he say that? "But Taehyung.. Do you not believe in me? I'm really serious about this..." he says, deflatedly.    "No, No, No Kookie! Of course I believe in you. I will always believe in you, you know what, I'm just worrying to much. Let's go hang out before you leave! Cmon!" He says, excitedly, grabbing his hand and pulling him over to their favorite arcade.      --     Once arriving at the arcade, it was nearly empty. The two boys decided to play near the back of the building, for privacy.    Playing table hockey, the two start conversing.    "Kookie, you better not forget me in Seoul! You need to call me everyday! Don't forget to text me about everything. You're leaving me here all alone with Jin hyung!"   "Okay mother" Jungkook says, rolling his eyes slightly while laughing.    "Yah brat! I'm still older than you! Respect me!" he playfully yells, hitting the puck in successfully through Jungkook's defense into the goal.    "Fineeee." he replies, dragging out the word as he grabs the puck and hits it towards Taehyung's side.    "Well.. how long is it gonna take for you to make it? You know, til I see you on the big stage with thousands of screaming fangirls?" Taehyung teases, with a growing pain in his chest.    "Honestly... I'm not sure." Jungkook answers, stopping the puck to look at his friend. "It could take as little as a month or a few years..."   Taehyung just nods and looks into Jungkook's eyes, trying to take in every detail he could before they would separate.    The despair grows in his body, spreading all the way to his face, which Jungkook happens to take note of.    "Look Tae, I promise I will contact you, I'll call you everyday and tell you about my whole day. I won't forget you in Seoul, you're the number one person who encouraged me to audition and I'm really thankful for that" Jungkook said, grateful and serious.    Taehyung just stared at Jungkook before walking over and pulling the younger into a hug.    "Okay."      --     The next day passed by quickly, almost as if it never occurred. The passage of time seemed to move at a rapid pace for Taehyung, sadness growing in his heart as he watched Jungkook pack up the last of his things Thursday night.    The two were joking and hanging out for the last few hours they would have together. They reminisced at the memories of when they were younger, trying to forget the separation that was impeding.    "Jungkookie do you remember when you stole that old lady Mrs. Chen's pie from the windowsill?" he asked laughing.    "Oh yeah of course! I blamed Baekhyun hyung remember?" he retorted, laughing as well.    "Baekhyun hyung got yelled at so much that day! He even had to buy another one. He almost killed us that day too!" He chuckles, remembering when Baekhyun had found them hiding with pie pieces around their mouths. He had chased the two around for the next week after that. Taehyung's brother refused to talk to them for a month after that.    "He was so angry after that! He wouldn't even look at me when I was around the house!" Taehyung added, looking back at the funny memory.    "That was pretty funny. Ya know... thanks for always being there for me Tae. You've made my life so happy."   "Yah Jeon Jungkook don't go all sappy on me! I'm very happy that this happened and I can't wait to see you make it, just make sure to call okay? I don't know what I'm gonna do without you but I'll have to make it work.." Taehyung says, tears b in his eyes.    Jungkook got up from his seat and pulled Taehyung into a hug. "Taehyungie, thank you."   As Taehyung embraced him back, tears began to slip from his eyes. He didn't want his best friend to leave him and possibly forget him for famous people. Or get a girlfriend, he really wouldn't know what to do with himself if that happened. Taehyung wanted Jungkook to be happy, but he was hurting so badly.    Jungkook, please don't forget me...     --     The farewell was tearful.    Jungkook's flight was at 10:00 sharp and in order to get there in time for check in, he arrived with his own parents, Taehyung and Taehyung's brother Baekhyun at 8:00. A painful goodbye experienced.    Jungkook's parents had said goodbye first, hugging their son tearfully and telling him how proud they were and how much they fully supported his dream.    Afterwards, Taehyung stepped up to his best friend and pulled him into a tight hug.    "Please don't forget me over there, once you become the most famous person on the plant." Taehyung says quietly only for the other to hear.    "I promise I won't forget you TaeTae." Jungkook answers, pulling away to put out his pinky finger.    "Pinky promise?" Taehyung asks.    "Yup. You can't break a pinky promise Taehyungie!" Jungkook says childishly, coaxing Taehyung into it.    "Okie dokie then Jeon Jungkook, you better keep your word than." He says, wrapping his pinky around the younger's.    And with one final goodbye, Jungkook left for the airport entrance. Baekhyun turns to his younger brother and embraces him, allowing for his tears to fall privately.    Don't forget me Jungkook... You promised.      --     Communication between the two remained constant, but short. Long practices rendered Jungkook exhausted and left less time to talk. And final exam preparation left Taehyung overloaded. But the younger had remained faithful on his promise to call everyday. Things were going well for the first few months. Jungkook would initiate the call as he had the tougher schedule and Taehyung would faithfully answer.    Taehyung's love for Jungkook did not fade throughout this time however, in fact, it got even stronger. The effort to keep their relationship going gave Taehyung hope that one day, just maybe, his feelings may be returned.    Unfortunately for Taehyung, communication got strained whenever Jungkook told him he was going to debut in one month with a group called BTS. This would require more practice and even less time to talk between the two. It had been about six months of training before he was set to debut, requiring one more month but the previous six months were just to enhance skills. Now they would be for rehearsing the groups song and dance, implying a ridiculous amount of hours to be put in.    This was when Jungkook told Taehyung that everyday phone calls would be unable to occur anymore.    "Jungkook!" Taehyung yells through the phone after picking up.    "Taehyungie!" Jungkook replies, cheerfully but with an evident tone of exhaustion in his voice.    "What's up Kookie? You usually don't call me this early. Are you okay?" Taehyung notes, worrying for his love.    "Aish, there's just so much practicing Tae, I'm exhausted but I have good news!"    "What is it Kookie?"   "I'm debuting with a group in one month! Five members and I'm the lead vocalist" He says excitedly, almost yelling through the phone.    "Congratulations Jungkook!" Taehyung replies happily, genuinely excited for his best friend.    "Well the only downside is.. um..." he trails off.    "What is it Jungkook?"    "It's gonna be tougher for me to call you everyday... We have crazy schedules to practice and since I'm main, I have to work even harder..." He says, cautiously.    Taehyung feels his heart start to break a little, it hasn't hurt this bad since Jungkook told him he was leaving.    "O-Oh..." He stammers not knowing what to say.    "I promise I'll call every two or three days, I'm sorry Taehyungie, you know how it is.."    "That okay Jungkook... That's just how it goes right?..."   Noting the depressed tone, Jungkook says,  "It shouldn't be that bad, Tae. This just means I'm finally making it! My dream is coming true!"   "I'm really happy for you Jungkookie!" He replies, trying to be as cheerful as possible even if he was dying inside.    "Thanks Tae! Well, I gotta go now, practice and stuff, see ya!" He says quickly, hanging up before Taehyung could respond.    "Yeah... bye, I love you.." He whispers, seeing as Jungkook us already hung up.    Taehyung knew he was pining over a foolish love that will never equate to anything, but he won't stop. He will keep chasing after Jungkook until the end, encouraging him and secretly loving him. Taehyung sits lost in his thoughts until he feels a wave of nausea hit him.    Taehyung lays his phone on his bed and quickly walks over the bathroom as he feels as if he'll throw up any time soon. This has been happening for the past week or so and Taehyung had no idea way. He had just thought he ate some bad food but when it constantly occurred and more than once a day, he knew it wasn't normal.    As he rushes to the bathroom, he begins to empty what little his stomach contains.
