151006 – The Show

Mijoo’s POV

‘Mijoo ah. Remember to come back to the tentage in thirty minutes as you need to get ready for the ending stage,’ Manager told me.

‘Yes yes, I know I know,’ I replied without looking at Manager and just head straight to Got7’s tentage.

I was about to enter when someone suddenly open the cover and that someone happened to be Mark. Both of us were surprised to see each other here, our eyes wide opened. Mark’s expression change to a smiley one and said, ‘Hey you’ as he slowly leaned in closer to my face, wanting to kiss me.

However, I teasingly stop him by placing my index finger on his now pouty lips and gently pushed him back into the tentage. Once inside, he removed my finger and make an attempt to kiss me again. But luck was not on his side for sure as he was interrupted by Jackson who greeted me with ‘Hi girlfriend’.

Hearing Jackson’s greeting, I gave him a small smile. I turned back to look Mark and the moment I saw his face, I immediately burst into laughter. His face was becoming darker and he was sending death glares to Jackson. I could hear Jackson letting out a small squeak upon witnessing the sight before him. Sometimes, I feel that Mark is overreacting a bit too much for my liking. I mean he gets jealous way too easy and he could be overprotective and possessive towards me. Take this situation as an example, Jackson was just being friendly but Mark thinks that he is being flirtatious. Even I do not think that way when my members greet him, it is a friendly gesture after all. It got me thinking that he does not trust s enough and me even. Sure, he does show his sweet and romantic side at some point but lately he is so sensitive towards minor stuffs that I find it overbearing. I want to talk to him about it but I could not bring myself to as I am afraid of the outcome. I really need some advice here.

I sighed in my heart and was brushing off all the thoughts inside my head. In order to calm my jealous boyfriend down, I pecked him on the cheek. After I did so, his face brighten up twice than before.

‘Why did you come over when I am the one that is supposed to,’ Mark asked, focusing on me.

‘I do not want to trouble you already. You have been coming over to my waiting room for four days so it is my turn to go to your waiting room,’ I replied.

He hummed in response and wiped off something from my face. Then he asked, ‘How are you feeling?’ when he questioned me that, I get what he meant. Got7 and Lovelyz are being nominated for first place in The Show alongside with three other groups. Anyone from the five groups could get the trophy just that we do not know who will get it yet. Not that I do not want Got7 to win but I hope Lovelyz will win today. If we did, we would finally get our phones back thus I could be able to communicate with Mark easily and this would be our first win ever since we debuted plus with Jisoo back, it will even be more meaningful. If we did not, I would still be pleased with the results as all of the groups worked their butts off to earn this achievement.

‘I am nervous about it. I mean we are nominated for the first time. But you know, there is a high chance that we will not win. The competitors are so strong,’ I said, finally realizing that Lovelyz is actually being nominated.

‘Hey. You should not lose faith. You guys might win,’ Mark said with a reassuring smile. He is right, we might win but I do not know for sure.

Thirty minutes fly past quickly and I had to go back to my tentage. Mark tried to stop me from going by using his cute tactics on me. However, it did not work that well as what he thought it would since I really need to leave.

‘I will come back after everything ended okay?’
