FORGOTTEN BEGINNING

'Forgive and forget' that's what every smart and wise people always say, but there are times where those people make stupid choices and eventually regret them. 
Should we ever forget the wrongs done to us? Why should we? Should we forgive those people?

Repentant or not, the old wounds it caused would never heal.
 How could we ever forget those horrible and negative emotions, the anger and resentment, the fear, the loneliness, the guilt that almost had us gone crazy and insane, and telling us to let go just like that, when we don't even know if we're doing it for them or for ourselves.
