Sandara Park, otherwise known as Dara… she was a girl that lived alone in a medium sized condo in the quiet area of Seoul. She was currently working on a research paper for one of her classes when she had the urge to have a chocopie or two. She got up from her desk and walked to the kitchen, trying to see if she could find something good to eat. “Hmm… nothing…” she mumbled. She walked to the coat rack and put her jacket on as well as her winter hat and boots, got her keys and walked out of her home. It was already December, and the streets were already covered with a thin blanket of snow. “Ahh… it’s so nice…” she said to no one in particular.

But she then saw someone on the bench wearing a pink t-shirt and black pants and looked kind of lost. She tilted her head and walked up to the person. “Annyeonghaseyo…” she said, politely to the stranger. He looked at her with a lost expression on his face. He looked as if he didn’t have anyone in the world to talk to or be his friend. Dara smiled, sat next to him, and held his hand in hers. “Are you okay?” she asked. The smile was of warmth and affection and the stranger’s frown slowly turned into a smile.

Dara smiled at him and couldn’t help but want to be his friend. He looked as if he were going to jump off the face of the earth if someone didn’t talk to or befriend him. “Park Sandara imnida… but you can call me Dara…” she said, kindly. “What’s your name?” The girl had completely forgotten about wanting to buy chocopies. Now her interest of focus was on this man.

He looked at her, still smiling, before introducing himself. He gave her a slight bow and said, “Kim Heechul imnida…” A giggle escaped her lips and Heechul looked at the girl before him. “What year were you born?” he asked. At first she was afraid to tell him but she knew that she would have to because she didn’t want to be disrespectful if he was older than her. “I’m an 84er…” she said. A wide smile appeared on the male’s face. “Then I’m your oppa… I was born in ’83,” he said.

The two of them smiled at each other and Dara couldn’t help but ask him if he had anywhere to go. Heechul looked at her and shook his head. “Ani… I don’t remember how I got her or how I came to be here. I just woke up around this area without an exact memory of what I was doing,” he explained. Dara nodded. “You can stay with me if you want…” she said. Heechul’s eyes widened as he looked at the younger girl. He was about to protest to her but she insisted on him staying with her at her home. “I’m a bit lonely in my home. My family lives in Busan so I rarely get to see them,” she explained.

The two of them walked back to her condo and Dara automatically set up a place for Heechul to sleep. He looked so tired and cold outside that the moment they got inside; Heechul had gone to the couch and passed out. After preparing a place for Heechul to sleep in, she looked at him and sighed. He looked a baby when he was sleeping and this brought a smile to her face. She took the blanket and covered him, brushing the stray hairs away from his face before retiring for the night.

The smell of bacon and eggs filled the condo, waking up to man who Dara has befriended the previous night. He looked around, confused. Then he saw a picture of her on the coffee table, a picture of the girl that had brought a smile to his face when he had no one else to turn to. “This must be her home…” he whispered to himself. A sigh escaped his lips as he took in his surroundings. “She’s simple…” he thought as he took note of the simplicity of her home. There wasn’t anything big that would make one’s eyes pop but he felt at home.

A head peered out from the kitchen. “Oh… you’re awake already?” Dara asked as wide smile appeared on her face. “Would you like some breakfast? I made bacon, eggs and toast.” Heechul smiled at the girl and nodded. “Yes please…” he said, getting up and walking towards the kitchen. He wasn’t particularly sure why she was being so kind to him but he liked it. They sat at the table and began eating breakfast.

There was an awkward silence between the two. The reason for Dara being quiet was because she was always quiet while she ate and the reason for Heechul was that he didn’t know what to say to the girl. Several minutes passed and Dara decided to break the silence between them. “So do you have any family or anyone close to you that lives around here?” she asked. Heechul shook his head. “I told you last night that I don’t know how I got here or anything like that.” A cough escaped his throat and Dara looked at him, worried.

@pepperkibump0713: Neh... but that was the way it was planned and actually how it was requested. I really wanted to make a happy ending for Heechul but... well.. it wouldn't follow the MV's storyline so I couldn't.
