"Jung Hyemi," She gulped as the boy in front of her angrily slammed his palms against the wall she was leaning against, and trapped her successfully between his arms. She avoided his gaze and looked at the ground timidly. Hyemi probably knew why Wonwoo was so angry at her but she absoluetly didn't want to be confronted about it.

Wonwoo wordlessly pulled her mask off, and softened when he saw the red, gnawing marks across her ear, jawline and her lips. Hyemi bit on her lower lip nervously as her hands clenched into fists.

"It's obviously not a cough. Who did this to you?" He asked softly, and Hyemi's eye flickered upwards, looking into Wonwoo's soft brown ones.

"I fell down the stairs-"

"I don't appreciate you lying. Is there a reason why you need to cover up for those jerks?" Hyemi shook her head profusely, but still didn't reveal the truth. Wonwoo, I don't want you to get expelled from school...

With reignited motivation, Hyemi told him not to worry with the smile that he fell in love with her for. She quickly put her mask back on, and hugged Wonwoo tightly before going to class, "See you Wonwoo! Go to class and study hard."

He stood here, brows furrowed deeper than before and clenched his fists.

Hyemi, you are too kind for your own good.

"So Hyemi was really bullied, wasn't she?" Seungcheol grimaced as Wonwoo hung out with his gang at the rooftop after school.

"Yeah! And she won't tell me who it is! Judging by the scars, they are probably new. I told her I wanted to stay with her 24/7 but she just declined my offer. What do I do?" Wonwoo sighed, full of worry as he clenched and unclenched his fists. "ARGH!" He shouted and Mingyu couldn't help but snicker at the fact that the Jeon Wonwoo was acting so desperately because of love.

"Is it funny brat? I'm going to shove a blade up your when you go to sleep," Wonwoo warned Mingyu and ruffled his hair violently.

"Eh, wait! Isn't that Hyemi?" Seungkwan called out to the rest of the gang and they immediately crowded the rooftop's edge. Wonwoo peered down and found his beloved girlfriend surrounded by a gang of girls. .

He pushed the boys away and immediately ran for the door. Hyemi, I'm coming as fast as I can!

Soon, Wonwoo reached the backyard of the school and witnessed Hyemi getting pushed around by the evil girls. One of them had a razor blade and before Wonwoo could reach Hyemi, the evil took a swing and cut off Hyemi's long and beautiful chestnut hair. The lucky thing was it didn't scratch her face. The unlucky thing was, Wonwoo was so angry that he didn't care whether they were girls or not, he was going to kill them all.

The next few seconds were a frenzy. Hyemi gasped as Wonwoo lunged at the one who attacked her, and immediately screamed for him to stop. Words couldn't reach Wonwoo and another few seconds passed, with Seventeen's leader Seungcheol holding Wonwoo back, shouting at his friend to snap out of it. Too bad, the damage was already done.

Wonwoo immediately went to Hyemi, asking whether she was okay. Hyemi couldn't help but start crying there and then.

"Oppa, why did you do that?" She cried within sobs.

"Isn't it obvious? I love you! I told you, you should have asked me to stay with you!" She cried even harder at the thought of the consequences, even if her heart felt much lighter as the bullying incidents were going to cease.

"I'm sorry, Wonwoo..." She muttered before falling into a black unconciousness.

Two weeks later

"I still can't believe that you tried to protect me, I'm suppose to be doing that!" Wonwoo pouted and Hyemi just giggled.

"Just be glad that the school didn't expel you," She retorted as Wonwoo slung an arm over her shoulder.

"I'm really sorry. I'll make sure I exterminate all my enemies properly next time-"

"There will be no next time, mister!" She frowned and flicked his forehead.

"Arasso, Hyemi." Wonwoo grinned, "And, short hair really does look good on you."
