The house would have been completely silent if it weren’t for the perfectly timed squeaky sound coming from one of Chanyeol’s toys.

The mother and the father were used to just ignoring the noise – Kyungsoo wasn’t though, he was often angered by it – so they didn’t even bother to look to see what was happening. They would be surprised to see that this time it was the cat that was causing the obnoxious sound.

Kyungsoo moved through the house with Chanyeol’s toy, pushing it against the floor every now and then so it would squeak. And closely behind him was the toy’s owner; the beagle puffed and huffed in happiness, following after his toy while thinking that Kyungsoo was playing with him. But of course, Kyungsoo wasn’t playing.

Sometimes the cat didn’t even have to look back to know that the dog was coming, he could hear Chanyeol’s noisy paws hitting against the floor. He just wanted Chanyeol to follow him, and the best way to do that was to make the beagle thing that they were playing.

He managed to lure Chanyeol all the way to the bathroom, carefully listening to make sure that the dog was still trailing behind him.
