Kyungsoo wasn’t a pet that cared much for fresh air and going outside, the simple breeze that occasionally came from an open window was enough for him. But when the mother brought out the box, he knew he’d have to leave the comfortable home. That had happened quite a few times before, and it often involved vet visits, which the cat was never happy about.

But the clever woman always found a way to trick him into the box, and that day it wasn’t any different. With some sweet talking, and quite a large number of cat treats, Kyungsoo found himself inside the small prison, with the only entrance being closed right in front of his nose.

Both pets had their appointments with the veterinarian. During the beagle’s check-up, Kyungsoo could hear him whining and crying, but the cat reacted differently when it was his turn. He hissed and scratched, fighting his way through every procedure, even when they brought out treats for him.

After it was all done, instead of going straight home, the mother took them to the park, purely for Chanyeol’s benefit, so that he could have some fun after all that crying.

And so there they were, mother sitting on a park bench, throwing a ball back and forth for the beagle to run after and fetch for her, all while Kyungsoo was on her lap – thankfully
