-Prologue-

Wonwoo knew he was not allowed to stare like this. As one of the Shining Diamond members, he had to focus on his duty to guard the prince. He's one of the best soldier; even The Great General Woobin--his father--has aknowledged his capability in front of The King himself. Obviously, the reason Wonwoo couldn't keep his eyes from getting distracted was not because he's lacked of practice or experience.

It's just....

Who could resist to stare at such a beautiful scenery?

There, on the field, their prince was riding a horse slowly with General Seungcheol walked by his side.The prince's shoulder-length hair was caressed by the soft breeze. His slender figure moving constantly on the horse's back. While the general's well built body lead the horse's rein. They're having simple conversations as it seems; nothing serious since the prince's beautiful face was lit with bright smile. They looked like a painting. It was a breath-taking scenery.

As well as a heart breaking one, for Wonwoo.

Of course Wonwoo knew he had no chance against his own prince. That's why he's just standing there; watching while keeping his scattered heart in place.

As if realizing his stare, Prince Junghan looked up and smiled at him. The prince's hand waved at him, signaling him to come nearer. Leaving his post in the board field of the castle's backyard, Wonwoo walked to fulfill his prince's calling. He kneeled down not far from the prince's horse. "Is there something I can do for you, Your Highness?"

"Come here," The Prince said, and Wonwoo approached the horse still in his kneeling position. "Oh, don't kneel down, I can't reach you."

Albeit confused by The Prince's intention, the dark haired soldier straightened his back and stood beside the prince's horse--head still glued to the ground.

Instead of hearing an order, Wonwoo felt something was placed on his head. The Prince's soft finger caressed his hair before he exclaimed, "Woaah how pretty!" while clapping happily. "Doesn't he, Cheol?"

Wonwoo could feel his senior, General Seungcheol, smiled while giving an answer. "It's as you said, Your Highness. You made a beautiful flower crown."

The prince's soft laugh was heard as he talked again. "Look, Wonwoo, I'm wearing the same crown."

Drifting his gaze from the ground, Wonwoo's eyes indeed reflected the prince wearing the flower crown on top of his silver crown--the similar flower crown that said was placed on his head too. "I feel honored, Your Highness. I will treasure it dearly." Wonwoo said while returning his gaze on the ground with a small bow.

"We found many kinds of wild flowers across the small river over there. Seungcheol helped me picked the flower for you. He said you liked blue and white petals flower." The Prince happily talking, and Wonwoo couldn't help but smiled at his Godly beautiful appearance.

"You chosed it well, My Prince," he said.

Junghan's face beamed with a satisfied smile. "Should I make one for My Dad?"

"The King would be delighted." Seungcheol answered.

"Then, let's go there again! Ah, come with us, Wonwoo. I want you to help me pick the flower this time. I want to make one for your father; he'll be my father too soon." Prince Junghan let out a small giggles before gesturing Seungcheol and Wonwoo to follow him.

On their way towards the said flower garden, The Prince stopped his horse as if remembered something. "I almost forgot to tell you. Prince Mingyu sent me a letter this morning, saying he's on the way here. Guess he'll arrive here the day after tomorrow. I would like to ask you to personally guard him while he's here, Wonwoo. I hope you can do it?"

Without missed a single beat, Wonwoo answered. "I understand, Your Highness. His safety will be my top priority." He placed his right hand in front of his heart.

"I assure you Prince Mingyu's safety is in the right hand, Your Highness," Seungcheol said. As if sensed the prince's worry.

Junghan nodded. "I trust you, Wonwoo. I heard something bad was happening to him and his country. I hope he'll arrive here unharmed." Upon hearing Junghan's somber voice, Wonwoo couldn't help but thinking about the said prince. Alarmed by his prince's worry.

Although, to be honest, Wonwoo was more mesmerized by his prince's kindheart. He cared deeply to that Prince of Mansae Kingdom, like his own brother.

Really. Who could stand a chance against such an awesome figure? Wonwoo was more than understand to keep his feeling to himself.

A/N: Hi, guys! So, I'm back with a Kingdom!AU this time. The setting will be western-like kingdom (sword, castle, clothes, etc. I'm still thinking whether to include magical beasts such as dragon and unicorn, or not, let's just see later). Anw I'm still contemplating how should we name the kingdom? Should I go with Mansae and Pledis? Or, do you have better idea?

I don't know how many chapters I'll go with this story. Let's hope I can finish it *pray hard*

So, yeah, the couples will consists of meanie a.k.a minggu/wonwoo, sengcheol/wonwoo, seungcheol/junghan, mingyu/junghan, woobin/jongsuk.
