Motherless Child 고아They trudged into the silent domain with enmity dangling in the atmosphere. One by one they removed their shoes by the door and proceeded forward. Seungho briskly sautered ahead and knocked Ilbin in the process. She grunted in slight suprise. Coming down the stairs, an elderly lady looked to greet them. She gasped, staring worriedly at Seungho's face. He halted definitely in on spot.
"Oh my, what happened to my puppy's face?!" she was appalled at his facial injuries.
"Hey, it's nothing grandma." Seungho tried to wave it off. But, the look on her face said she wasn't buying into the white lie. She stepped back and took a look at all three of them. She saw the food stains that adored their clothing. A heavy sigh slipped from her lips. Her son swiftly passed by her without greeting her. "He must be in a bad mood today." she concluded.
"He's always in a bad mood." Ilbin piped in. She was about to pass her but her grandmother caught her wrist.
"Before you do anything, you have to tell me what happened. I will not take 'nothing' for an answer." she demanded of them. They were forced to sit in the living room and to give an explaination. At the end of it, their grandma was boiling in anger. She was absolutely livid. Curses of Hyunwoo were sent flying from as she spoke of him in spite. They only sighed in fustration.
"Grandma, were are fine now. There's nothing else to be upset about." Ilyi timidly interrupted her grandmother's rant. Yet, she heaved another sigh and bitterly let it go away. She ordered them to go change and prepare for dinner later on in the evening.
