As you expected, the gossiping and whispering hasn't died down, you wrote Jessica a letter apologising for what you said, and asking her to forgive you, I knew I wouldn't be able to face her, the guilt would overtake me

You placed the note in her locker

“Dear Jessica,

I am really sorry for what I said to you, I know I shouldn't have taken it out on you but that's no excuse, i hope you find the heart to forgive me, the necklace means a lot to me, but you mean a lot to me too, so I'm so sorry for what I said :( please forgive me“

The next day, you were sitting in class, waiting for the lesson to start, losing all hope that Jessica would never speak to you again

“Oi ____”

You looked up, you heard familiar voice

“So uh…. I should be the one apologising, I knew how much that necklace meant to you, I shouldn't have blurted out random things” Says Jessica, looking down at her feet

You ran up to hug her “THANK YOU SO MUCH JESSICA! I LOVE YOU” you were really happy, you were jumping around all over the place, you had a grin on your face for the rest of the day

“Who gave you the necklace anyway you never told me who” Jessica asked

” My memories are faint but I remember playing with this boy with silky smooth brown hair there wasn't a hair out of place, his skin was smooth and white so soft like a dumpling, I remember his eyes, hazel coloured, like the whole universe was in it. I remember I always wore the necklace playing with him. Until we went to different primary schools met new friends and eventually lost contact with each other.

“Ouch, so you don't remember his name?”

“I just remember that it starts with a V”

*BANG*

You both looked over to the corner that made the noise sounded like somebody had banged their head on a desk “Owww” there was boy on the floor, with his hands on his head, on his pinky he had a silver ring, I didn’t get to see his face he ran away with the speed of light.

"That was strange” Jessica said frowning

There’s only one person in this school who wears a silver ring on their pinky. But you didn’t think it was Vernon, why would Vernon listen to our conversation.

Ever since that mysterious day you have been getting secret admirer notes, in your locker

“I like you for you, nobody suits a smile better than you” you giggled to yourself, every time you read these, endless possibilities of people run through your mind, you were over the moon. The handwriting was neat, not a letter out of place

Every note made you giggle to yourself, you kept the notes safe and smiled every time you saw them. Your heart pounded like crazy, “Ahhh I’m going crazy, this is the first time it has happened to me”. You looked forward to receiving these notes everyday

After a while you had a pile of these notes on your desk, you stared at them everyday, wondering who it could have been

“We have met long ago, childhood friends you could say, I hope you remember” You continued to receive these notes everyday. Each day was different clues

“We have met long ago? Who could it be? The boy who gave me the necklace? The only thing I know about him is his name starts with V” you thought for a long time.  Your brain was starting to hurt after thinking for a long time, you hugged your pillow tightly while rolling from left to right on your bed

Then it hit you, you quickly sat up with a shocked face

“ V FROM SCIENCE CLASS, IN THE GROUP BTS?” You gasped, your heart was pounding like a drum, your breathing was shorter, your throat turned dry

You were his partner in science in class, he always made you laugh, making science puns and always cheering you up. You thought for a long time, he matched all the characteristics, he also had soft and silky brown hair, and hazel eyes, and smooth white skin.

“N-NO WAY!” You thought to yourself, you thought hard and long, not leaving any detail out, his name is V, the only letter you remembered from when you were younger was V. You were happy that someone liked you but you kept thinking about your love for Vernon. It's been one-sided love for a long time maybe I should stop liking him but I can’t, his smile melts my heart every time, I can stare at him all day. You rolled around on your bed, left to right, you hugged your pillow even tighter. "What should I do?"

You sat up, ruffled your hair

“Alright I’ll return V’s feelings tomorrow” You said
