 Jaebum isn’t selfish. Except he is, especially when he says he isn’t.

Foreword

I'm not even sure how this fic ended the way it ended but I'm happy that I'm finished with it. It was quite fun to write and it's a fic that's been kind of lying around in my drafts for a while until I finally told my lazy to get to work. JaeMark is happiness anyways, I wish you all a nice JaeMark trip!

I really REALLY liked this story, both because you wrote it so beautifully and because it coincides with my own headcanon about Jaebum's self preservation ways lol
I loved how you built this, from the change Jaebum feels in himself to how Mark doesn't think he has changed at all and likes him despite knowing his flaws. It's very human and that's hard to achieve (I'm still trying and failing). I like the subtle ways you showed their relationship is well. Thank you for sharing this, it's more motivation for me to finish all those Markbum/Jaemark drafts I have laying around as well D:
