Cube Entertainment to Release a Survival Show for New Girl Group

In a recent official announcement from Cube Entertainment, it seems that the company will be releasing a new reality girl group survival show in collaboration with Mnet, similar to JYP Entertainment's 'Sixteen'.

Exact details of the show's airing have not yet been released, but it is said that the show will feature the current trainees of the entertainment company battling it out to form a new girl group, revealed to be called 'Mystique'. The final number of trainees to be chosen for the new group have not been announced yet, but will instead be unveiled during the first episode's airing.

There are speculations that the show will be very similar to trainee survival shows that have been popular recently, as the trainees will compete in various challenges and tasks, as well as having weekly elimination rounds until the goal amount of trainees are left to form the new group.

Although not confirmed, it has been hinted that a few of the Cube artists may host or guest on this show to show support for their juniors. Many fans are anticipating their input in advice for their new additions to the Cube Family. Some also speculate that a few Cube artists may participate in the show as special guests to deliver challenges or possibly even judge.
