You walked down the street and headed back to your apartment. Jinyoung, you lil brat. You murmured quietly as you held an umbrella over your head. It was raining heavily and thank god you always brought your umbrella with you.

A known car stopped in front of you. You tilted your head as you widened your eyes. Vernon?

The car window slid down, revealing his face. He waved at you and smiled. “Get in the car.”

“Me?” You pointed to yourself.

He nodded. “Yeah.”

 

You didn’t care about what happened earlier. You knew you were still mad at him. But because he was Vernon, your biggest crush and you really wanted to get close with him. You nodded and slipped inside his car.

Your heart almost dropped as he drove the car full speed. He the car radio and increased the volume. You felt uncomfortable, obviously. You took out your mobile from your bag and acted like you were busy texting. You then saw Jinyoung’s name on your contact and you quickly renamed it to ‘Jerk’. You chuckled to yourself.

“What’s so funny?” Vernon asked as he kept his eyes on the road.

“N-nothing.” You smiled awkwardly.

You giggled quietly and sent it to Jinyoung. Vernon looked at you weirdly.

On the other hand, Jinyoung was sitting lazily as he stared on his computer, scrolling up and down the page. He heard a beep sound of his mobile and lazily picked it. He scratched his head and replied to you text. He placed his mobile on his desk and stared back to his computer.

Jinyoung stood up from his seat, about to heading to bathroom. But he stopped as his mobile beeped again. He shook his head as soon as he read your text.

You looked at your mobile with a straight face and scoffed. You then looked at Vernon who was busy driving the car. You secretly took a picture of him and sent it to Jinyoung.

Jinyoung saw the picture you took and his eyes widened suddenly.

“That’s good. Where are you now, btw”

 

 

You rolled your eyes and turned off your mobile, without replying him. You didn’t know your current location but you also didn’t want to tell him. “Where are we going? This is not the way home.” You asked Vernon.

“You’ll see.” He smiled at you and you could sense something weird with him.

 

You looked out the window of the car as it stopped in front of club. You looked around and saw Vernon turned off the car and took out the key.

“Is something wrong with your car?”

He shook his head. “Nope.” He got out of the car. “Let’s go.”

“Where?” You asked. You didn’t want to waste your time here.

He slammed the door, making his way to you. He grabbed your hand and forced you to follow him. You were weaker than him so you ended up following him.

 

The sound was no joke. It was so loud that you can’t even hear yourself talking. You looked at Vernon who was ordering for some drinks. He looked like already familiar with a place like this. As usual, the girls were gathering around him, giggling and chuckling.

He came back to you with two beers on his hands. You raised your brows. “For whom are those?” You asked him.

“Me and you.” He smirked and you couldn’t help but to blush.

“I don’t drink, sorry.” You bowed your head. “And this place is too noisy. I’m going.” You stood up from your seat but he grabbed your hand, making you stumble slightly.

“Just sit with me.”

You let out a sighed. “Only for 20 mins.”

“That’s too short.” He laughed.

 

“VERNON!” A loud voice was heard and you turned your head to the owner of the voice.

A girl with above average looks standing beside him. She pouted at him and sat next to him, revealing her thigh teasingly.

He messed her hair and placed his hand on her thigh. “Yea?”

You made a disgusting face and your phone quickly, trying to look busy, again.

“I missed you.” The girl said as she kept pouting.

“Why did you miss me? We’re already over, baby.” He smiled.

“But I don’t want to over this.”  She said as she eyes you from head to toe. “And who’s that girl?” She pointed to you.

He whispered. “You know already.”

“What? I don’t know what you talking about!” She yelled at him as she got up from the couch.

“This girl.” He wrapped his arms around your waist, making you almost jumped. “Is my new girlfriend.” He smiled to her.

“What did you just say?” You whispered loudly right beside his ear.

 

The girl opened widely. She looked at you both in disbelief. Her hand suddenly reached to you face and slapped it. You rubbed your cheek as you tried to remember what just happened. She then grabbed your drink and threw the beer at your face. You breathe heavily and stared at her. “Why the hell did you do that?” You yelled at her, feeling confused.

“Why? Because you stole him.” She smirked and then walked towards the exit door.

Vernon threw you his handkerchief but you didn’t catch it.

“Why did you lie.” You asked not looking at his face.

“I guess. I’m done here.” He chuckled.

You slapped his face as hard as you could. He deserved it. He scoffed and shook his head.

“Listen, I brought you here because I just wanted to use you. That’s all, now you can go.” He said like nothing happened.

You chuckled slightly and then slapped his face again. “Go to hell.”

He was surprised and didn’t expect you to slap him again. He was pissed off. He was about to grab you by your collar but a hand suddenly hit him on his stomach, making him collapse on the floor.

 

It was Jinyoung’s hand.

 

You didn’t know how he knew your current location. But you felt grateful and safety.

Vernon gave up and ran away, leaving you both.

“Are you..alright?” He asked, eyeing you from head to toe.

You kept quiet.

He looked around the place. “Let’s get out of here first.” He said as he grabbed your hand gently and led you outside.

 

You were happy that it was already night so if you suddenly cried, he couldn’t see it. He held your shoulder and slowly pushed you down to sit on the bench. He sat beside you.

He didn’t want to start the conversation first because he knew that you didn’t felt like talking. You looked down at your shoes, cursing in your head for liking Vernon.

“Jinyoung…” You looked at him. “Ver-vernon was using me.” You then let out your tears finally.

“It’s okay.” He said as he looked at you crying.

“I was so stupid.” You hit your head with your hand softly while your tears were rolling down your cheeks.

He held your hand and stopped you. He then pulled you closer to him, encircling his arms around you. “Don’t hit yourself.” He said quietly.

Your head rested on his shoulder. Why do I feel comfortable like this? You closed your eyes as you inhaled his scent.

He rubbed your back gently. “I should’ve stopped you.”

Your heart was beating fast and you felt a butterfly in your stomach. Not only now but every time you met Jinyoung, he always made you felt like this.

“Yes, you should.”

He released you from his arms and lifted up your chin. You couldn’t help but to stare right into his eyes. He wiped your tears carefully. And at that moment, you realized your feelings for him. “Don’t cry in front of me because of another guy.” He said, making you nodded slowly.

You kept your eyes on him and he did the same too. His face then moved closer to yours and you could felt his warm breathing. You closed your eyes as his face got nearer and nearer. He placed his lips on your forehead, creating butterflied again in your stomach.

 

“You know what.” He looked at you and raised his brows.

“What?” You asked with not so curious expression.

“You seem like you enjoy this.” He chuckled.

You punched his chest. “You’re joki-“

“Stop doing this.” He cut off. “Or I’ll...”

“You’ll what?” You tilted your head.

“Or I’ll just kiss you.” He poked your cheeks.

You blinked. You didn’t know why but your hand reached to his chest again. And you hit him lightly.

He looked at your hand that was on his chest and then looked back at you, smirking.

“You asked for this.” He held your neck and pulled you closer to his face. You blushed slightly and his other hand held your waist. You widened your eyes. He tilted his head slowly to the side and pressed his lips softly against yours.

He pulled out and your eyes couldn’t stop blinking.

 

He then looked into the sky with a smile. I did it!

 

You covered your mouth and realized what just happened. “Jinyoung! Hey!”

“Yes, Yumin.” He said it with teasing tone.

“I like you.”

Jinyoung turned his head to you quickly. He was surprised by your sudden confession. “Can you speak louder?”

You took a deep breath. “I said I want to go home!” You hated repeating yourself especially with this kind of this.

“I like you too.” He replied. “Let’s go home.” He held your hand and you felt the warmth. You blushed so madly and couldn’t even talk anymore.

You followed him from the back as usual. Jinyoung also smiled as he held your tiny hand.

 

He then stopped in front of his motorbike. You looked around. “Is that yours?” You asked.

He nodded. “I was in a hurry.”

“Okay then I’ll just go home first.” You smiled at him.

“Why.” He said as he got on his motorbike.

You stayed quiet.

“Are you afraid that you’ll feel uncomfortable?” He asked, smirking.

“Yeah.” You honestly replied.

 

“Then sit on my lap.”
