Soonyoung is the Prince of Proessa, a kingdom in the south of the Golden Isles which was the first to ban the practise of magic. Now only the north of the Golden Isles still allows sorcerers to go about their craft, but Soonyoung's father has taken an oath to rid the Isles of magic entirely. However, a chance meeting with a travelling northern sorcerer has Soonyoung questioning everything he's ever been taught about magic.
