JUNGKOOK

Jin shuts the door of his room and sits on his bed. He doesn’t understand why this is happening. He flops down on his bed.

They say they like being pampered, but they don’t think he’s fit to be an Eomma. Which hurts.

Thinking about it, Jin tears up.

‘Nonono. I can’t be crying. I mean, no one even asked me to be their Eomma in the first place. It was just my wishful thinking.’

“Hyung?” A voice sounds from underneath his bed.

Jin jumps off and looks under.

“Jungkook-ah! You scared me! What are you doing down there?”

Jungkook rolls out from his hiding place.

“Well, I wanted to scare you, but then you came here and I heard you sniffling.”

Jin smiles softly. “There’s nothing to worry about, Kookie... I was just a bit stressed out.”

“Do you want to talk to me about it?”

Something about how Jungkook acted made Jin smile.

The youngest consoling the eldest. Laughable.

“Jungkook-ah, do you feel the same way? Do you think I’m not a good Eomma?”

Jungkook knows why this is happening.

He says, “Jin-hyung, please don’t take this in a bad way... You are an amazing Eomma. 

You really take care of us and look out for us.

Our dorm is so clean because of your initiative. And since the dorm is clean,

 Jimin can’t say “I didn’t choose the pig life. The pig life chose me.” 

It’s because of you that all of us are healthy, and happy.

You listen to our problems and always want the best for us.

 You are the one of the best Eommas in the world...

...It’s just our fault that...”

Jungkook looks away.

“None of us want you to be our Eomma.”
