before i continue, this is fully my opinion of which some may or may not agree as it is at least based from what i experience in a roleplay or at least what i hoped(?) to see. numero uno - common, affroleplays have become mainstream. you choose a face claim, talk to each other and that's it. if luck is on your side and the admin is creative then you might be able to enjoy events or games or perhaps, if the roleplay has a twist like a feature that i remember one roleplay had. i think it was an aurp, i forgot the name since it didn't last long but the admin had made a feature of a button and trust me, it seemed really stupid to me at first but when i saw the explanation for it - pretty creative. so, what does this 'button' do? they were an aurp, so if a month passes or sometime passes and the concept bores the family, the button will do its work as in "changing" to a non-au rp or a different au or something like that. please notify me if you know which rp was it. deux, if the admin is bae quality meaning he or she is able to cater for one whole family instead of just a certain clique then, that's what makes the roleplay hype. for all i know, some roleplays have their cliques and i find that a little discriminating because if you're not it then you're not in, ya no whut m sayin'? we're not in high school, please act mature and befriend everyone instead of just saying in your comfort zone. tres, don't be choosy of idols! "under rated", "less popular" idols are most likely to be ignored unless they have a special point to be remembered by. face claims shouldn't be a factor in befriending a person in all honesty, that's like anna falling in love with hans. bad metaphor but it suits the situation as in don't judge a book by its cover because i prefer non-famous face claims instead of popular ones. i guess, what i'm trying to say is that attitude is the reason why affroleplays aren't as successful as they were before because imo, admins nowadays chase for upvotes and views instead of friends and memories. so to the affrps that are still in work, please don't give up. sincerely, me.
