“Good morning, loser.”

These were the last three words Jimin heard from a classmate of his. It was the last time any student from his cruel school had managed to speak to him. It might be just three words, but to Jimin it still sounded like millions of words as they were repetitively echoing inside his head.

Just go away, loser. You have no reason to step here, loser. The school doesn’t need you anymore, loser.

Jimin felt he was lost inside his own world. He couldn’t realize where he even was. He was only standing still in front of a tall building that he was forced to call “his school” and blankly staring at it while everything was starting to seem unknown to him. The roads surrounding the school building all lead to nowhere and the students walking past him were nothing but large groups of strangers. Even the school was slowly becoming a dreaded place that Jimin did not want to know.

What are you waiting for, loser? Get lost!

The voices insisted on playing inside Jimin’s head, leaving him standing there motionless. But after a moment, he finally came back to his senses and perceived what was going on in reality. He decided to turn his back and walk away. Away from “his school” and the dozens of strange people around him. And that is when he began to follow the unknown roads that lead to nowhere. He simply let the roads lead him to wherever they desired. He just wanted to end up somewhere – anywhere.

Only two last words could be heard in his head now: Goodbye forever, loser.

No one ever saw Park Jimin again since that day.
