“Wooshin are you done packing?” Chanhee yells from the living room. Wooshin has been packing his stuff in his room for ages and Chanhee was starting to get annoyed with how much time the younger was taking.
“Yeah I am! Just one last... ugh I can’t put this in!” A muffled yell resounded back at Chanhee from Wooshin’s room.
Chanhee grumbles under his breath as he abandoned his half packed luggage and marched into Wooshin’s room.
“I can’t fit this photo in.” Wooshin pouted when he saw that Chanhee had finally put down what he’s doing to help him.
“Take it out of the photo frame silly.” Chanhee takes the bulky photo frame from his younger brother and stares at the photo. It was a photo of the both of them taken years back when both of them were still students, before Wooshin’s accident. Wooshin was carrying Chanhee on his back and they both had grins that were wider than a photoshopped monkey on their face.
Chanhee’s expression softened as he gazed lovingly at the photo inside the photo frame in his hands. He had never been separated from his brother for more than a day since his brother was born and now they were going to live in two different countries. Chanhee felt a pang of sadness, he couldn’t wait till he and Jonghyun officially settle down so that they could bring Wooshin over to Australia too.
Flipping the photo frame to the back and pulling the backing out, Chanhee carefully lifts the photo out of it’s frame and handed the photo back to Wooshin.
“Here, it should fit in your luggage now.”
“Wooshin ah now that we won’t be living together, you have to take care of yourself alright? Don’t trouble Byunghun all the time. Hyung used to spoil you a lot but it’s time for you to grow up. Don’t be too dependent on Byunghun.” Chanhee reminded his younger brother.
Byunghun and Andy had kindly offered to look after Wooshin for Chanhee when he’s in Australia even though Chanhee thought that that wouldn’t be needed. But Byunghun argued that it would be better if Wooshin had someone around so that he wouldn’t be lonely rather that staying by himself in an empty house. Plus Wooshin had helped him a lot during his recovery period and Byunghun wanted to return the favour.
“Don’t worry hyung. Just enjoy your time with Jonghyun. But don’t forget to invite all of us to your wedding!” Wooshin poked at Chanhee who just chuckled good naturedly in response,
“Of course I will. And once we settle down I’ll bring you over to live with us too.”

Chanhee pressed the doorbell and waited impatiently for someone to get the door. The pair of siblings had arrived at Byunghun’s house with all of Wooshin’s belongings nearly a whole week of packing. Chanhee shifts his feet uncomfortably feeling rather antsy about seeing Byunghun again. Sure they had communicated over Kakao Talk over the past month but Chanhee hasn’t seen the other since that fateful night but he trusted Byunghun to wipe the mistake clean from his mind.
Which Byunghun did or seemed to anyway, the pediatrician opened the door for the duo cheerfully and greeted Chanhee as though nothing had happened between them. Watching Byunghun happily wheel Wooshin into the house and showing the redhead around, Chanhee gives a sigh of relief watching the both of them smiling and chatting good naturedly.
“My appa has a mini library that he set up for me when I was younger and it has been kept untouched since I started working. I heard from Chanhee that you love reading and I think it would be a nice place for you to chill.” Byunghun blabbered on excitedly as he showed Wooshin the room filled from floor to ceiling with shelves and shelves of books.
“If you can’t reach a certain book you can just yell out to me, I’ll get it for you.” Byunghun smiled sweetly as Wooshin nodded, his eyes shining with excitement looking at the insane array of classic fairytales that Byunghun had in the shelves.
Once they had put down all of Wooshin’s belongings in his room, Chanhee announced that he should be leaving first to continue to pack his own belongings he would be bringing with him to Australia.
Byunghun nods at Chanhee before telling Wooshin that he would walk Chanhee to the door and Wooshin could just browse around the house at his own will.
“Thanks for helping me take care of my brother.” Chanhee shyly smiles at Byunghun, patting the younger’s hair. An action that had become a habit over time.
“It’s nothing. Take care of my younger brother for me too in Australia okay? If you ever hurt him I will slit your throat.” Byunghun commanded sternly, wearing the most intimidating expression he could muster but Chanhee only laughed at how cute the younger was.
“You take care of yourself too Lee Byunghun.” Chanhee adds, worried when he noticed that Byunghun looked paler than before and was leaning against the doorframe for support.
