Before your date later, you and Junior were hanging out at his dorm. While you were on your phone, he was reading a book.

“Junior, do you know how to roller skate?” you ask.

“Possibly, why?” he answered, not looking up from his book.

“For our date later, do you think you can maybe teach me?” Junior looked up at you with surprise.

“Uh, no. You can’t be serious,”

You looked at him disappointed and replied, “But I am…”

“Absolutely not! You’ll get hurt!” he reasoned.

“But you’ll be right there! And I’ll have knee pads and all that stuff…Jinyoungie pleaaaaaaase?” you begged.

“No! You really can’t be serious,” he repeated. After looking at you long and hard, he figured you were serious.

With a deep sigh, “Fine, I’ll teach you. But you have to be really careful.”

“YAY! THANKS JINYOUNGIE, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!” you hugged him.

“Ah, what really am I doing?” he muttered to himself.

That evening, you guys went to a skating rink. Not too many people were there, since you guys went when it was only 4pm still. Junior’s reason was ‘So you bump into people!’ Naturally, you were a little offended he didn’t have much faith in you, but it was your first time skating.

After Junior purchased two pairs of skates, one pair of knee and elbow pads, and a single helmet, he led you to a seat around the ring of the rink so you could put on your gear.

“야, why is there only one helme and one set of pads?” you inquired. [Hey,]

“Because you need it, not me.” You sighed and rolled your eyes. Of course if Jinyoung is teaching, he needs me to take all the precautions.

“알았어…” you reluctantly agreed. [Araso/Okay]

When you were only halfway done with putting on your pads, Junior was already done. He looked over at you and smiled. As you were holding your arm out to put your elbow pad on, he took it out of your hand.

“Hold your arm out towards me.” You followed what he said as he was helping you, and he was very gentle while doing so. When it came to putting on your helmet, he snapped it securely in place and gave you a forehead kiss.

“You ready?” he asked you.

“가자!” You said, determined. He took your hand so that he could bring you to the ring, scared that you’d fall already. When you nearly slipped forward trying to walk, Junior caught you. [Let’s go!]

“Thanks,” you laughed nervously. Junior looked at you with a face of concern and wondered if he really made the right decision to teach you.

You eventually made your way to the ring, with a lot of help from Junior. Since walking there was hard enough, you nearly regret choosing skating for a date idea. This is going to be so difficult and tiresome…

Junior described very simply how to stand, but for some reason, the posture felt odd to you.

“물론, you’re not standing on two feet but on eight wheels, so it’s hard to balance,” he explained to you. [Of course]

The next step was actually moving, which was not as easy as you thought it was. Apparently, you had to push your foot to the side when you took a step with it. For now, though, Junior told you to just take little baby steps as if you were just walking. The whole time, he never was too far or out of your grasp, always looking out for you.

A little while after you finally got a hold of baby steps, still near the edge of the rink holding on to the ledge, Junior decided that you should stop there. Junior helped you get back to your seat and started taking his skates off. You started taking your pads off, and Junior finished right before you, you thought.

As you stood to return the pads, you heard Junior go, “Y/N, you still have your skates on!” the moment you knew it was too late. Almost immediately, you fell, scratching your elbows and bruising your knees. Junior helped you get up and you winced, but still tried to hide your scratches.

“야, 나는 바보 아니야! I can see your cuts from here,” he raised his eyebrows in the direction of your arm. [Hey, I’m not a fool!]

“앉아,” he sat back down and pat his hand on the spot next to his. [Sit.]

“Let me see,” you hold your arm out unwillingly. He tells you to stay seated while he gets up and goes somewhere else. While he’s gone, you examine one of your arms. It’s not THAT bad… You lift up your other arm to see it and noticed that you were bleeding quite rapidly. Oops.

Junior came back, rather quickly, with a few band-aids, a wet paper towel, and a tube of ointment. He lifted your hand gently and stretched out one of your arms, wiping the blood off the small scratches. He next applied the ointment, and sealed it off with a band-aid. When you hold out your other arm to him, he sees the big wound. He carefully absorbs the blood and wipes it carefully, and then starts putting on the ointment. The moment he touches the spot, you wince.

“I know it hurts now, but it’ll feel better later.” You nod and he grips your hand tightly as he applies the ointment on with the other hand. When Junior finished, he put a band-aid on the wound.

He wasn’t done there, though. He continued to assist you by taking your skates off.

“I can do it by myself,”

“Okay yeah, but then you can fall again,” he rebutted. You figured it was fair reasoning and let it go.

When you are finally all set, you stand up slowly, still in a little pain.

“괜찮아?” he asked, worried. [Are you okay?]

“네,” you replied quickly. Unconvinced, Junior throws your arm over his shoulder to support you. [Yeah.]

After returning the rentals, Junior drove you home. When he arrived, he rushed to the passenger side to help you. The same way he did at the rink, he supported you all the way to your front door.

When you’re safely inside your house, Junior is about to take off when you stop him.

“Wait! I didn’t say thank you!” he turned back with a grin on his face.

“Thank you, Jinyoungie, for teaching me and taking care of me,” you grabbed him by the next and gave him a cheek kiss.

You saw him go a light shade of pink. “Hehe, Peach Junior.”

“야…” he whined. [Hey…]

“Have a good night, Jinyoungie. Drive safely.”

“Good night, Y/N.” As Junior was walking towards his car, you saw him nearly fall over a rock.

“That didn’t happen!” he called out to you.

“Of course it didn’t!” you answered.
