chapter ii.
Charmed and StrangeLast year she was a freshman in high school, and she joined the art club. Naeun was shy and introverted but she also loved art and she knew she was damn good at it, so she took a chance and signed her name up. She got in without any sort of evaluation or consideration. The art club was small, anyone that wanted to join had been immediately welcomed.
The feeling she had at her first club meeting was a mixture of excitement and fear. She remained calm by repeatedly telling herself that it was just first day jitters, that it was completely normal and the feeling would soon pass.
It would be the same thing here, she supposed. At this weirdly named school.
The first step would be settling in. The first stop would be the information desk.
Except... for the life of her she couldn't find the information desk. Or the administration building. Or, you know, the entire goddamn school.
Naeun stood in front of a grassy clearing, gaping at the nothingness of it all. She wondered, for the fifty-eighth time, if she had read the map wrong.
She scanned the school brochure over and over again. No, she was definitely in the right place. She had even called the school to ask, but no one picked up.
