Kyungsoo dialed the number anxiously and held the phone to his ear. A beautiful ballad song was the caller ring and it helped Kyungsoo calm down slightly. 

"Hello?" Baekhyun's curious voice rang through the phone. 

"Hi... Erm Baekhyun? This is Kyungsoo, you know, Jongin's boyfri- I mean fiancé." Kyungsoo blushed and laughed nervously. The reality of being engaged to Jongin had yet to set in his mind. 

"Oh yeah, hi Kyungsoo, is there anything wrong for which you called?"

"Ah no no, nothing's wrong, it's just I thought that since you're Jongin's best friend, maybe we could bond a little, so would you like to come over for dinner tonight."

"I'd love to. I would also like to talk to you personally as friends and not as the best friend of your to-be-husband."

Kyungsoo's face flushed at the term. "Okay so you know the address right? You could probably come by 6. Is that alright?"

"Yeah sure, I'll try to be punctual haha."

"Alright then. See you later."

Kyungsoo ended the call and thought now that wasn't so bad, maybe we could be friends.. He seems nice.

Kyungsoo went to the kitchen to think of what to cook. He thought maybe he could whip up something with the leftover chicken in fridge. To his horror, the place where the plate of chicken was supposed to be was now just an empty space. 

"Kim Jongin! You come here right now!"

"Yes babe, something wrong? Can't get something from the top shelf again?" Jongin grinned. 

"Shut up! How could you eat half a chicken Jongin? Half a chicken! That could feed a family of 3!"

Jongin's eyes widened and he gave his lover a sheepish smile. "Well.. I was hungry..? Come on love, you were late in coming home that night, and there was no food. You know how I get after work, I'm tired and hungry. The chicken in the fridge was basically calling for me." Jongin whined and pouted. 

Kyungsoo's resolve trembled abit but he remained stoic. "I can't believe you Jongin. Are all Kims' like that? Remember when that Kim Jongdae from high school used to prank people and eat their food from their lunchbox. And not to forget our angel looking neighbour, Kim Junmyeon. Who knew he used to go over to people's houses just to eat there saying he got locked out of his house. Aish seriously... Maybe all Kims' think alike."

Jongin chuckled loudly and pulled Kyungsoo to him. He leaned his forehead on Kyungsoo's and whispered, "well love, if you say so then let me tell you that you're going to be a 'Kim' soon too. Am I right, Kim Kyungsoo?" 

Kyungsoo half-heartedly pushed him away. "Go away, I'm still a 'Do'." He tried to push his blush away and went back to the living room.
