~1 YEAR AFTER MARRIAGE~

Time passed by faster than anyone thought and like they say, time flies when you're having fun. Speaking of fun, life after marriage seemed to be much more happier and the amount of affection between Jay and Syasya kept increasing day by day. Not forgetting about their AOMG crew who was being treated like their second family were sharing the same happiness that the couple was going through.

Looked like luck seemed to be on their side and Jay's AOMG company was slowly progressing and kept on receiving positive response from fans on their music. Due to that it boost up their energy level to produce more new songs for the fans. As usual, the recording studio will always welcome people with loud blasting beats.

"Uh-yeah always on my grind, signing off, it's AOMG baby, I'm out!" Simon ended the song smoothly with a swag gesture

"Wooo!!! Let's call it a day. Awesome work bro," Gray praised

"Haiz....," Jay sighed as he leaned restlessly against the sofa, with worrying cloud looming over him

 

Every minute that passed, he kept checking his phone, waiting impatiently and anxiously for a text from his beloved wife to tell him a good news he hoped to hear. He was so distracted by it, he kind of outcast himself from s for a while when Loco noticed someone's voice was missing whenever they were to have a chat. 

"Jay, what's up bro? What's your opinion on the song that we all wrote together?" 

"Huh? Song? Oh, the song, yeah yeah it's nice," Jay answered without paying fully attention to them

"Woah hold up, that was an unsatisfying answer. Usually you'll be like, cheering your off after the song satisfied you. Something is definitely bothering you," Simon assumed 

"My wife is on a medical checkup and I wanted to accompany her but she insist that I should be working instead. Imagine how I felt if you were to be in my shoes, having your wife to go on her own just like that?" Jay explained

 

That shut all of them up and caused them to have some understanding for their CEO. Loco then accompanied Simon to go and buy some lunch for the three of them since he felt bad after what he said to Jay. Gray on the other hand was having a heart to heart brotherly chat and managed to find out that Jay was worried about Syasya's health condition. 

 

"Ahahaha it might not be a bad news bro. Usually when women react that way means there is another human in their stomach. It's just a normal symptoms for women," Gray told him

"You seemed to know a lot about women eh? I'm impressed," Jay added

"All my sisters are married and I'm the only guy apart from my dad in the family. What do you think?"

Sweet-smelling rain-washed darkness, sky freckled with stars. Smudgy illumination of a lamppost, sky sprinkled with stars.

Jay was trying to concenrate with the rest, pointing out on their mistakes when he heard his wife's angelic voice who was having a conversation with Diana while entering the building. Poor Gray who was being left behind by Jay's unfinished sentence, Jay rushed as fast as he could to his wife.

 

"Hey sweetheart," Jay said in a relief tone as he gave her a short hug and a peck on her cheeks

"Hey! How's work love?" Syasya asked, brushing off a green thread from his shirt

"It was fine but I'm more worried about you, what did the doctor say hmm?"

 

Syasya remained silent and avoided Jay's eye contact at all cost when Jay brought her chin up leaving her with no other choice but to stare directly into his chestnut coloured pupils. Syasya pulled him to delay matters as both landed their on the white sofa. Feeling eager to know the news, Jay kept pestering her to tell him. 

 

"Babe, good or bad, I'm prepared to hear it. Promised to be honest even though situation could get ugly right?" Jay reminded her

"You really want to know the truth? I...I do not know how to put it in words...I...haiz...," Syasya sighed remorsefully

"Calm yourself down, and tell me slowly ok? I'll not be in peace if you don't tell me what happened. You saw how panic I was yesterday and as your husband I need to know what's going on," 

"Alright, the good news is that...(hold onto his hands)...I'm pregnant," Syasya let out

"And the bad?" Jay asked seriously

 

Syasya leaned backwards gloomily. Her face potraying a mixture feeling of shame and did not even dare to look into Jay's eyes for even a second. She looked at other direction with an inconsoable face. Jay understand it was extremely hard to handle bad news and gave her some time to have the courage to voice out to him. 

 

"The bad news is....the baby in my stomach....is..is not y..yo..yours," she stuttered in fear

"You gotta be kidding me. This is a prank for sure. Hahaha, trying to be funny aren't you babe? Think I will easily fall for your trick?" Jay confidently said but somewhere in his heart felt a bit scared incase if it was really true

"No I'm not lying to you! You may think I'm a good girlfriend material and stuff like that but the truth is I'm not! I've done many things behind your back you really don't want me to list them out. You've been touring and busy with your music videos so....I...kinda went overboard with..with someone else. I slept with someone else a few nights ago while you're having a B-Boy battle at the States ok? I don't know what I was thinking at that point of time...tsk..I'm sorry babe...really sorry.. Tsk..," Syasya sobbed and confessed her wrong doing, regretfully letting go off his hands

Jay felt like as if  a grenade had just landed and exploded directly on him. Upon hearing that, Jay rolled his eyes away from his wife with full of disgust. Calling him babe did not have an impact on him anymore. As furious as he was now, he tried his best to be patient with the ty situation was being thrown to him. Feeling so under full of pressure, he closed his eyes and cursed  himself for being such a fool to go for the wrong girl.

 

"I'm sorry to disappoint you. If you want to proceed on with the divorce go ahead," Syasya suggested in guilt

"Pfft, you think it's that simple? Woah, you're such a....ugh!!! One more thing I want to clarify with you. Do I know the person you slept with?" Jay asked, despairingly

"Y..ye..yes," she trembled

"Jay, please don't blame her. It's totally not her fault. It's mine. I was drunk that night so please, don't hurt her," the victim interrupted

"WAH!!!!  Just great, 'GREAT'!!!" Jay exploded sarcastically, standing up harshly from his seat

 

Things were getting more and more nasty for Jay right now, he did not know how to react except for pacing back and forth regretting the choice of choosing his life partner. How he wished he could turned back the time but in this cruel world, not even a slight chance it would happened. He was just too upset to even bother about anything right now. Unanswered questions burned endlessly in his brain; his inner voice was screaming in silent anguish and betrayal.  

Simon was trying his best to explain but it was so not helping Jay to understand Simon's irrelevant reason. Boiling with rage, his anger turned into violence as he present Simon with a deserving, powerful punched causing Simon to accidentally bend down on one knee with the other supporting him. Blood were oozing out from his mouth when he lifted up his head to look at Jay.

 

"I trusted you. I shared the fame and gave you a chance to shine as a solo artist and this is what I got in return? So much of being loyal Simon," Jay roared in frustrations as his eyes met Syasya next

"And you...you broke my heart tremendously. So much of being a good wife to me. Pfft,"

Having enough with this nonsense, Jay marhced off slamming the main door hardly.

Jay was dating his own depression and could not stopped thinking about the news being told by Syasya at his office hours ago. His brain was extremely tired as he took a couple of minutes to rest his lethargic body on the king size bed when he heard the sound of keys unlocking the main gate of the house. Without even guessing who it was, he pretended to fall asleep because he was too upset to confront about matters that had already happened.

While  pretending to be asleep, his ears could clearly hear the noises around the room as he tried to picture what Syasya was doing. His eyes open when he heard the sound from the washroom door was being slide closed. Despite of what happened, his eyes started to admire Syasya's  silhouette shadow. 

His eyes shut itself back when Syasya was done showering and he suddenly felt the once huge bed being occupied by another body. Seconds later, he felt that warmth, comforting arm surrounding his waist. The urged to turn his attention to her was so tempting as he forced himself not to.

 

"Babe~~~," Syasya called dearly

"Hmmm??" he replied in a 'sleepy' tone

"Hey, can you turn around please? I missed seeing your face bae," 

 

That desperate voice of hers sent chills running down his spine and he could not bear to see her in that kind of situation although she had done something wrong. Still in a pissed off mood, he turned around but showed no attention to her.

"Looks like your daddy's angry eh?" Syasya speaked as she caressed her stomach at the same time

"I'm not his daddy. If you want, you could leave and stay with Simon instead," Jay said in annoyance

"You believe it's not your child?"

"What are you talking about? I thou-----

"GOTCHA!!! IN YOUR FACE BABE!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! YES MY PRANK DOES WORK AND YOU FELL FOR IT! WOOHOO!!" Syasya exclaimed in victory

 

Syasya laughed her heart out and was proud that she could be a good actress. Jay on the other hand immediately smirked in embarrassment upon falling into his wife's trap but relief flows through his blood that the depression was gone after knowing the real truth.

 

"Ha....ha.....ha....very funny..," he fake a laughter, feeling so dumb about himself

"Indeed yes it is funny!!! What goes around, comes around babe! Hahahaha!" Syasya continued

"Congrats on your first prank success! BUT....you are so gonna pay for it!!! COME HERE YOU!!"

"Oh !! Ok, ok I'm sorry!! I know what's on your mind, I'm begging you NO!!!!!" Syasya pleaded

"Too late sweetheart!Hahah!" Jay laughed evily

 

The room was filled with loud, happy laughters as the couple wrestled against each other playfully and adding in more fun with continuous tickles on both their waist, adoring each other lovingly till they were too tired to continue. Drifting herself closer to him, she leaned against Jay's broad chest as Jay's arms secured her body. Too happy that he was going to be a dad, he stared at her with full of sparks of happiness in his eyes.

 

"We'll take good care of our child and we will definitely raised him well," Jay assured, lingering his finger on her fringe

"Of course. I can't do it alone. Thank you for bringing in a new family member babe," Syasya thanked him

"It's not only my hard work, it's yours too dear,heh that's why you're the love of my life," Jay said and moved his lips closer to hers

"Aoouchh!!" she cried in pain, squeezing her stomach

"OH GOD WHAT'S WRONG??? YOU ALRIGHT? COME ON, WE NEED TO GO TO THE DOCTOR!!" Jay panic

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA KIDDING!!! Damn this is fun!" Syasya joked

"Aiissh!!!! You're learning alot from me," 

"Like what you said, be prepared there is more coming up in the futre hehehe. Looks like karma does it's job pretty well," Syasya shot him back

"Hahaha, well got to admit you're getting good at it! Love you bae!" Jay confessed

"Love you more!"

"Really Simon, for the sake of 10 bucks you're willing to get punched?" Loco asked surprisingly

"Of course, it's cash we're talking about here man. We're all money getters anyways,  hahahaha~~~" Simon exclaimed and sang a random nursery song as he made his way out of the recording studio

"Aiish, I think he is even willing to jump off from a tall building for a million," Gray laughed and shook his head in disbelief
