The sun poured out its brilliant hot oranges and reds into the clouds like a pot of molten lava. The number of people wandering around Gangnam-gu street were getting lesser and lesser as the night was getting nearer, causing the area to eventually be deserted as time goes by. After an exhausting day at work, Jay was spending his time with his girlfriend at his Dudart family cafe located somewhere near his company building. They were in there for about half an hour already. For the past 15 minutes, Jay had been displaying a moody and cranky vibe.

Having only a spoonful of his clam chowder, he leaned against the wooden chair while taking his own sweet time to munch on those soft clams in his mouth. He then focused his attention on the night sky which was being filled with countless of shimmering stars like as if a large hand had tossed diamond dust into the air. 

 

"Babe, your clam chowder is getting cold. You should eat it while it's hot. I'll stir it for you ok?" Syasya offered with a smile

 

Silence was what she received back as an answer. Knowing very well that something was totally not right with her boyfriend, she touched his hand with full of concerned in her expression. Jay gave an immediate respond by giving her his attention due to the warm, comforting touch being felt on his hand. 

 

"Hey, you alright? If something  is bothering you, you could let it out to me," she said

 

Jay squeezed her hand tightly and brought it closer to his lips as Syasya allowed him to do so if that would made him feel better. Jay stared into his girl's cognac coloured eyes with fully of guilt. He let out a sigh of despair and with full of remorse he said,

 

"Babe, I need to tell you something. Haiz, I feel bad to hide this from you and since we promised each other to be honest no matter how ugly situation could get, I think I should not break any promises between us," Jay lamented, still holding onto her hand

"I'm listening," Syasya replied

"Before I say anything, I just want to say that I'm....(eyes watery) truly sorry, really sorry for what I've done and I'm prepared for what's going to happen after...(eyes getting more watery)...after I told you the truth," Jay lamented

 

Assuming something bad was going to flow out from Jay's mouth, she slowly let go of his hand. Preparing herself to listen even though she could some what predict that it would break her heart, she pretended to be ok as she took small sips of her chocolate milkshake as she waited patiently.

 

"Ok, you defnitely know what kind of life a celebrity has to go through right? Listen babe, I'm not going to be as free like I was before. I have my own label now and things are getting way different and busier for me this year. To ensure that my company label is being recognised, I have to work extra hard with my AOMG members. By working hard I mean, I have to sacrifice certain things," Jay explained

"So you're telling me, you're going to sacrifice our love for each other for the sake for your company?" Syasya said harshly as her eyes are starting to turn glassy

"Well you don't have to make it sound so bad.  It's up to you to hold onto me but I could not gurantee that we will spent much time with each other like how we used to. So before you're going to get annoyed that my busy schedules  will affect the both of us, I think it's best if we end it here," Jay suggested as he face downwards apologetically

 

Those sudden decision hits Syasya hard like a bullet being shot right through her chest. How she wished she did not hear that coming. Trying to be as strong as she could , she wiped off her tears cooly, feeling so dumb suddenly upon accepting Jay's proposal in the first place. The urge to curse directly at him was so overwhelming but she was too hurt and pissed, thinking that just by cursing was never enough. 

Suddenly, a message popped out from Jay's phone screen, displaying the name of someone who Syasya had her full trust on, her bestfriend, Diana. Accidentally had eyes on the text message being sent, Syasya did a sarcastic laugh.

"I don't think your career is your real reason for us to break up. Well...so much of being honest Jay. Thanks a lot!" she insulted, slamming her hand on the table as she stood up

"Haiz....," Jay sighed 

 

Grabbing her white Nike backpack, she shoved the door of Dudart cafe hardly and stomped out with heavy flowing tears already streaming down her cheeks, ruining her mascara. She stopped by a convenient store washroom to cry her heart out and then rinse her face thoroughly trying very hard not to believe whatever was being confessed by the guy she love. Her eyes turned watery and red as the hurtful moments were brought back to mind again.

Once she felt that she had cried enough, she composed herself slowly and took some time to reflect as she stared at her pathetic self into the mirror right before her. 

"You're such a fool Syasya," she said to herself with full of devastation

 

About 5 minutes later, she exit the washroom, masking out an 'i'm-fine' kind of expression as she went to the drinks section to buy herself a can of red bull but paused her actions when it strucked her mind that it was Jay's favourite drink. Having no intentions to break her heart any further, she changed her mind and replaced her drink with a can of Sprite instead.

After paying fot it she leave the convinient store and coincidentally, Simon who was walking along the pathway near the store saw her.

"Alright, I'll call you back ayte?" Simon ended off his call immediately

"SYASYA!!! WAIT UP!" and quickly called her name before she disappar out of sight

 

He did small jogs till he was side by side with her. Treating her like part of the AOMG family, he did an informal brotherly handshake with her. 

 

"Sup man, where are you heading to? No plans with Jay today?" Simon questioned 

 

That name tremendously stung her heart and as she hated to put herself and Jay in a difficult situation, she did not exposed what happened at the cafe earlier to Simon even though she was part of the AOMG family. With a fake smile she replied him back, 

 

"Nah, Jay is busy so as a girlfriend I should understand him," Syasya lied

"Woah ok," Simon said in a surprising tone, scratching the back of his head

"You heading back to the company?" Syasya guessed

"Ah yeah....Haiz... there is a conflict between Gray and Loco and honestly, I don't know how to resolve it for them," Simon told her

"What's going on between those two? I thought they were fine with each other yesterday?"

"It's really complicated. Gosh, I'm running out of ideas on how to get them back on good terms. Haiz...what should I do? I mean they need to be on good terms for Loco's new single. Loco is struggling now and I felt so bad. Aiiish....I hate this feeling," Simon grumbled

"Well....I will try to help but do you mind telling me the whole story?" she requested 

 

A relief smile appeared on Simon's face and so he told what exactly happened between Gray and Loco at the same time making their way towards AOMG building. Syasya listened to him attentively about the problem till they did not realised that they were almost reaching the main door until both of them heard some loud arguements coming from inside. Feeling worried, both barged in and saw Gray was verbally arguing with Loco. 

"Oh so now you're blaming me because of that? I told you I'm innocent alright?!!You know what? this ! I ain't doing any beats for you anymore!" Gray yelled in anger as he made his way towards the recording room and slammed the door shut

 

Simon and Syasya sat beside Loco who was venging his anger by tearing those lyrics that he wrote into pieces.

 

"Chill man," Simon comforted

"Stop, don't do that! It's all your hard work, don't tear it. Loco, calm down alright? Come on, we can work this out. You and Gray were very close and just because of one small matter you're ruining the friendship,"

"I've already apologised for what I've done. He is the one who is being such an immature brat! What the hell? Sensitivity has it own limit too damn it," Loco roared

"Alright, alright you calm down first. I'll talk to Gray ok? I'll be right back," Syasya offered and made her way to the recording room

 

Her hand was touching the cold, metal door knob and the moment she turned it and pushed the door opened, Gray was already standing right before her with a circular shaped cake in his grip.

 

"Happy birthday to you~~~ happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Syasya~~~~~ Happy birthday to you~~~ YEAH!!" all the three of them sang as they brought the cake out to the glass table

"Happy 23rd birthday Sya!!" Gray wished

"Sorry for lying to you but it's part of the prank. Gray's idea not mine. So I'm purely innocent!" Simon confessed

 

Syasya was so loss for words and she did not expect them to throw her a small ceebration like what was being potrayed right before her eyes. All she could show was her unexpected, bewildered expression to the boys who was busy styling her up with the coulourful, coned shaped party hats. She felt so dumbfounded by their acting and could not believe she actually fell for it. She covered her face with full of embarrassment as continuous laughters filled the room.

 

"Aaaw she's turning red in the face. Hahahaha, your plan worked out well Gray! LOL!" Simon teased

"Aiiah damn all of you but at the same time thank you for this, unexpected surprised," Syasya thanked

 

She closed her eyes and while doing that, one tear streamed down her fair cheeks causing all the three guys to be wonder in curiousness all of a sudden. Syasya blew the candle, realy hoping that God listened and will answer to her wish as she wipe off that tear away.

 

"Didn't know our surprised could be so touching ahahah," Loco assumed that was the reason behind that one tear

"Girls....hahaha so dramatic...okok just kidding. Hehe!" Simon joked

"Heh! Honestly it does moved my heart. The cake looks delicious by the way," Syasya replied

Gray showed a proud gesture upon choosing the perfect cake that macthed Syasya's taste. All of them were adored by the aroma and the tempting chocolate syrup dripping from the sides of the ice-cream cake that hungrily they cut the cake and distributed it equally. They had a chat when Loco gave a smll sigh.

"But if only Jay could be here to celebrate it with us but too bad he had to go for his doctor's app---

 

Simon gave a smack on his shoulder.

 

"Not in front of Sya," Simon whispered

"Hahah what Loco meant was Jay was having an appointment with some producers and he'll be here soon," Simon said 

"Oh and Diana too. She is like Syasya's bestfriend but she seldom visit our office nowadays though. What happened to her Sya? Is she busy??" Gray asked

 

The amount of energy to answer to those questions was lower than zero when she heard those two names being mentioned. Trying to stay strong she bravely acted like nothing bad had happened between her and Jay although she knew right after she saw the text message on Jay's phone, Diana will be meeting Jay right after she left the cafe. No matter how desperate her heart wanted to share it with the guys, she forced to keep it within herself.

 

"Diana is erm....yeah, she is busy these few days,"

"Anyways, whatever it is, while we're in LA last week, we bought you something," Simon changed the topic and handed her a black rectangular box

"Gee, thanks!" Syasya thanked him and open it

"WOAH!SWAG!" Syasya exclaimed 

"Nah, can't beat mine," Loco said, proudly and handed her his present

"Damn, awesome! Thanks Loco!"

"Don't mention it. Haha, so Gray, what did you get for her?" Loco asked as Gray potrayed a more confident look as usual

"Here you go birthday girl," Gray said and gave it to her

"WWWWOOOOAAAHHH!!!" everyone exclaimed in awed

"THANKS!!!" Syasya thanked

"Wow, Gray suddenly had lots of money in his credit card. So the last night in LA, you were pretending to be broke eh??? Aiish me and Loco shouldn't have wasted our money on those food that night!" Simon caught Gray red handed

"Kekekekekekeke," Gray chuckled

 

Suddenly, a loud bang coming from the AOMG main door slam opened causing all the four of them to jerk up in surprised and Simon to accidentally curse out loud due to major shockness from the banging sound. They heard footsteps running and it turned out to be Diana, looking like as if she had completed a full marathon.

She panted hard and lethargically took a sit and surrounded her arms around Syasya's shoulder. Only God knows how annoyed Syasya felt at that point of time having the girl who stole her boyfriend a few hours ago, acted like Syasya was fine with the entire thing and still have the guts to have skinship with her.

 

"Hey Diana, long time no see. You came at the right timing, join us with the celebration," Loco invited

"I...(panting)...I....would....love to....but....I have.. something to tell...to Syasya," she panted

 

Syasya showed no interest at all and only focused on her cake. Instead of eating it, she just poked the cake treating it like it was Diana's face she was doing it to.

 

"You alrigth? What's with the panic aura you're giving us?" Gray asked

"Syasya come on, we got to go. Jay...he really needs you...please...you have to go,"

(Syasya)

"Why would I go? I thought he already have you," Syasya said sarcastically

"Woah, did we missed out something? What's going on between Sya and Jay?" Loco said

"Aiish, not helping Loco!Ssshhh!" Gray and Simon scolded

(Diana)

"Syasya please, before you regret it," Diana pleaded

 

"I don't get the logic though. The one who asked for a break up is him and now he needs me? Why? His new girlfriend couldn't be there for him that he have to run back to his previous one?" Syasya insulted with full of rage

"Why are you blaming me for stealing your boyfriend? Without even investigating in depth you're blaming the out of me now? Fine you want to know the truth? Jay is sick, ok? He hide his sickness from you because he don't want you to be worried! He broke up with you because he don't want you to suffer for him. Now get your moving before it's too late!" Diana confessed in a serious and a slight pissed off tone in her voice

A wave of despondent swept across her as worry engulfed her entire self, causing her to regret upon what she told Diana and her reaction towards Jay earlier. The three guys sighed in disappointment wishing that this news would not be revealed especially on a special occassion like this.

 

"So is that why you shut Loco up earlier Simon? You all knew about this?" Syasya lamented

Silence is what she got in return. Hurriedly, she ran out of the building and quickly called Jay while her eyes monitored the road for a cab to appear in her vision.

 

"Come on babe, answer the phone!!" she panic, already sobbing

 

A cab stopped by and she quickly instructed her destination to the driver. 

 

"Hello? *cough*" he finally answered after a few seconds

 

"Babe!! Tsk..tsk...TSK...TSK..TSK!!!" she sobbed her heart out

 

"Hey, what's wrong bae? *cough* *cough*" his comforting voice replied back, pouring some relief to Syasya that having him to call her bae at least made her feel that he do still care for her

 

"Are you alright? Why didn't you tell me the truth?? How could you hide your sickness from me? Don't you trust me? Tsk..tsk... oh my God I'm sorry about what I said to you at the cafe..TSK..T.SK.. bae I still love you, I'm sorry," Syasya cried

 

"Cause I hate to see you being sad. I don't want to be a burden to anyone, you know I hate to do that right babe? I'm alright, I'll try to be better day by day, for you, I'll try till the end. Like I promise, to love you till death do us apart, hehe I'll be fine ok? I'm sorry to hide it from you. I can't bear to disappoint you,*cough* *coughing badly, really badly*~~

 

"Jay? Babe, please wait for me I'm coming to your apartment please....tsk...TSK....," Syasya begged

 

"Tsk...of course I'll wait. *cough* Whatever happens when you reach, whether I make it or not, I want to apologise for the wrong things I've done to you and I'll love you forever alright?" he said dearly

 

"Jay please, don't hung up. Just talked to me so I know you're fine,"
