☼ The Change and Return of Emotions ☼

 

“Why are you freaking out? The Jurassic Park ride has a bigger and wetter drop and you’ve been on it” Min said, rolling her eyes at Fei who was clinging onto TOP as they waited in line for the log ride.    “Yeah and I never went on it again remember? The water smelled bad too” She mumbled, leaning her cheek onto TOP’s chest.    “Hello? Hi Andrew!” Seohyun motioned for the rest of the group to go ahead without her as she left the line. Seungri and Min made a face, but Fei shot them a warning look. Taeyang looked at TOP curious about their expressions, but TOP simply shrugged and turned to give the guy collecting the tickets his and Fei’s.    “You know what? I was on a winning streak before you all dragged me here, I’m going back” Seungri said, then jumped over the rail and began walking away towards the casino games. “You know, that’s how gambling addiction starts!” Min yelled out to him, but Seungri simply waved her off.    “Come on, Min” Fei called out to Min. Without thinking she got into the log ride and the rail lowered down onto her lap.    Right as she leaned back and brushed her arm against the person next to her, she realized what she had done. Her eyes quickly went to Taeyang, but he was trying to figure out how the plastic gun worked and hand’t noticed her panicked look.    “Okay, go” The guy who had lowered the safety rail on their laps called out to his co-worker. Fei immediately clung onto TOP’s arm, “Min, if I die, I’ll kill you”    “Noted” Min mumbled, grabbing her own plastic gun to shoot the first target that came into view. “So, are we like competing or something?” Taeyang asked her, “Yup. The points add up at the end” “And what do you win?” “The satisfaction of winning” Min turned to look at Taeyang, who was giving her a dubious look. “Seriously? They don’t even give you anything?” “Nope, unless you want to make a bet?” She asked, giving him one of her devilish grins.   “A bet?”    “Hey, we’re surrounded by gambling machines, why not a wager?”    “Fine. What do you want?”    “The stars, the moon, the sun”    Taeyang laughed, “Anything I won’t die trying to get?” Min laughed at that and then started to think as she shot another target.    The atmosphere gets better at our cute jokes   “I want….hold that thought” She said, putting her hands up in the air. “Wh-!” Tae quickly grabbed onto the rail right as they went down the drop.    Fei screamed in fear, but Min in complete joy.    When they made it to the bottom, TOP cursed at the water that splashed them in the front row.    Min was laughing as she leaned forward, “Thanks for going in the front guys” She said, patting their shoulders. “Ugh! This smells just as bad as the Jurassic Park one!” Fei complained, making Min laugh harder.    Taeyang couldn’t help smile and chuckle at her cute laugh.    It wasn’t forced or fake, it was completely genuine and even contagious as TOP and Fei were also laughing now.    She took a few breaths and looked at him, her smile still on her face, “Write a song about me. A good one”   Taeyang knew she was saying it as a joke, but he couldn’t help frown. When she noticed his smile disappear, she titled her head to the side, confused about his reaction.    “I already did” Taeyang said softly and fortunately TOP and Fei were laughing amongst themselves loudly that they didn’t hear his confession, but Min did and her eyes widened in shock; her lips parting slightly.    Taeyang shrugged at her expression, “C’mon. I told you what you had to do to get a song didn’t I?”    “You should write a song about me”    16 year old Min said, leaning forward to catch a glimpse of Taeyang’s lyrics, but he quickly put his arm over them. She pouted and sat back down in her chair.   “I’ll write a song about you if you break my heart or backstab me or something along those lines”   “How tragic. Don’t you ever write about happy things?”   “Sure I do” 17 year old Taeyang shot her a charming grin, “but heartbreak sells better”    Min looked away from him, “I want fries. I win, I get fries” She said, pointing her gun to the next target.    “What if I win?” She shrugged, but didn’t look at him.    “Write me a song” Min looked at him, baffled. “What?” At her exclamation Fei and TOP looked over their shoulders, “What are you two talking about? Min sounded so offended right now” “We’re making a bet. If I win Min has to write me a song, if Min wins, I buy her fries”    “Fries or a song? Couldn’t you pick something better Min?” Fei asked, a bit disappointed, which made TOP and Taeyang laugh, but Min’s jaw drop. “Wow, thanks” Fei gave her a small apologetic smile. Her thoughts were said without thinking again.     “Well if you want your song, then you better catch up. I’m already ahead” Min said, aiming her gun again. Taeyang smirked and took out his gun, “We’ll see about that. Last I checked, you forgot your glasses in the car”    Min clenched her jaw and turned to look at Tae with a murderous look. “Oh, have you even been hitting the targets?” TOP asked her, but quickly turned around when she shifted her look to him.    “20/20 vision is so overrated” She mumbled, before aiming again.      “Well you wouldn’t-…Andrew, don’t be mad….Why not? Why is it so bad?….But you’re over the-” Seohyun sighed, rubbing her eyes in frustration.     “I’m sorry okay? But I’m not just going to pack up and go back home. You’re not even there!
