( A/N: It's the phantom of the opera that they're doing for school plus I love this play )

 

 

“ It's Raoul, before my father died,? you see I guess you could say we were childhood sweetheart. He called me Little Lotte .” Saphira said to Eva

 

Man ! Saphira is a good actress. 

 

“ Christine, he's so handsome .” Eva said to Saphira

 

“ My parents and I are very honored to support all the arts. Especially the world-renowned Opera Populaire .” I said

 

“ Gentlemen, Signora Carlotta Guidicelli, our leading soprano for five seasons now .” Mr. Arellano said 

 

  Athena comes up to and puts her hand and I laid a kiss upon it. 

 

“ Bravo, Bravo .” Someone said 

 

“ Signor Ubaldo Piangi .” Mr. Arellano said 

 

Erik comes up to me and shakes my hand.

 

“ An honour, Signor. I believe I'm keeping you for your rehearsal I will be here this evening to share your great triumph. My apologies, monsieur .” I said as I smile 

 

“ Thank you, M. Le Vicomte, once more if you please, Signor .” Chen said 

 

“ He love me, He love me .” Athena said as she walk away

 

I walk past Sapira never making eye contact with her. Now that I’m offstage until the next scene I decide to sit down and watch the rest of the scene.

 

 But thank goodness I still have the super hearing .

 

“  He wouldn’t recognize me .” Saphira said to Eva with a sad face

 

“ He didn’t see you .” Eva said to Saphira  

 

Maria is on the stage, she’s Madam Giry

 

“ If you please, monsieur. We take a particular pride in the excellence of our ballets, monsieur .” Maria said as she ushered Tao and Lay  

 

Then I see Saphira and Eva go on and they started dancing I never knew that Saphira can dance but she dancing with such grace and elegance. Tao and Lay followed around Maria. 

 

“ I see why, especially that little blonde angel .” Lay said as Monsieur Firmin but also gesturing towards Eva 

 

“ My daughter, Meg Giry .” Maria said proud 

 

“ And that exceptional beauty, no relation I trust .” Lay said 

 

“ Christine Daee, A promising talent M. Firmin, very promising .” Maria said 

 

“ Daae, you say? No relation to the famous Swedish violinist ?.” Tao said as Monsieur Andre

 

“ His only child, orphaned at seven when she came to live and trained in the ballet dormitories .” Maria said

 

“ An orphan, you said ?.” Lay said 

 

“ I think of her as a daughter also, Gentlemen, if you would kindly stand to one side .” Maria said as she gestured them to side to watch the performance

 

“ Hannibal friends !.” The chorus sang 

 

“ Oh no, not on my dress, why ?.” Athena said 

 

Min Soo’s sister was made for theater.

 

“ The trumpeting elephants sound - hear, Romans, now and tremble ! Hark to their step on the ground - hear the drums !.” The Chorus sang once more 

 

 I see Mr. Arellano comes over to me 

 

“ Hey, don’t worry about dinner and homework ok plus I ordered pizza for us .” He said 

 

“ Sweet thanks .” I said 

 

I thought I would never say that word.

 

“ You’re welcome .” Mr. Arellano said

 

 I turned my attention towards the play 

 

“ Ah Daae, all that they want is your dancing Vicomte is very excited about tonight's gala. He's excited by dancing girls as your new managers because I will not be singing. Goodbye, everyone. Now it's finished. Get my doggie, bring my doggie. Bye bye .” Athena screamed angrily 

 

“ What do we do ?.” Lay and Tao ask 

 

“ Grovel .” Mr. Arellano said 

 

“ Grovel, Grovel .” Lay and Tao said 

 

Them grovel now that’s a sight to see. 

 

“ Right .” Tao said 

 

“ See you later, because I'm going out, It is finished.” Athena said as she away 

 

“ Principessa. Bella diva .” Tao said 

 

“ Si, si .” Athena said 

 

“ Goddess of song .” Lay said

 

“ Mr. Reyer, isn't there a rather marvelous aria for Elisa in Act Three of 'Hannibal' ?.” Tao said 

 

“ Yes, yes, yes. Ma no ! Because I have not my costume for act because somebody not finish it ! And I hate my hat !.” Athena said as she pretend sobbed 

 

“ I wonder, Signora, as a personal favour, if you would oblige us with a private rendition.  Unless, of course, M. Reyer objects…” Tao said 

 

“ No. Aspetta, aspetta If my manager's command...M. Reyer ?.” Athena said calmly 

 

“ If my diva commands ?.” Chen ask 

 

“ Yes, I do .” Athena said

 

“ Everybody be quite !.” Athena shout as she walk to center of the stage 

 

“ Monsieur Lefevre, what exactly are you retiring ?.” Tao ask as walking with Mr. Arellano

 

“ My health .” Mr. Arellano said 

 

“ I see .” Tao said 

 

“ Signora ?.” Chen ask 

 

“ Maestro .” Athena said 

 

“ Think of me, think of me fondly 

When we’ve said goodbye 

Remember me once in a while 

Please promise you’ll try

When you find that once again

You long to take your heart...” Athena sang with happiness and made me happiness 

 

 But then lights went out on the stage to fake setting coming on her but then the lights came back on and she’s on the ground with fake setting line on top of her. 

 

“ Signora !.” Chen said 

 

“ He’s here : The Phantom of the Opera…” Eva sang as ran up the stage then back 

 

“ Signora ! Are you alright ?.” Tao said 

 

“ Buquet ! For God's sake, man, what's going on there ?.” Mr. Arellano shout 

 

Then one of classmate appears 

 

“ Please, monsieur, don't look at me as God's my judge,I was not at my post. Please, monsieur, there's no one there Or if there is, well then, it must be a ghost...  .” He said 

 

“ Signora, these things do happen .” Tao said 

 

“ For the past years, these things do happen. And did you stop them from happening ? No! And you too, you are as bad as them, these things do happen. For the past years, these things do happen. Until you stop these things from happening.This thing does not happen ! Ubaldo! Andiamo ! Bring my doggy, and my boxy .” Athena shouted angrily as she walks off stage 

 

But then Erik comes up to Lay and Tao finally Mr. Arellano 

 

“ Amateurs !.” Erik said then walks away 

 

“ Now you see. Bye bye I’m leaving .” Athena said as continuing walking away 

 

“ Gentlemen. Good luck. If you need me, I should be in Australia .” Mr. Arellano said then walk away 

 

I think I like this play it's kind of funny. But the sun comes in through the window of the opera like theater but then I look at Saphira and then sun hits her. She looks glorious in the sunlight.

 

“ Signora Guidicelli, she will be coming back, won't she ?.” Tao asked concernedly 

 

“ You think so, monsieur ? I have a message, sir, from the Opera Ghost .” Maria said as she an envelope 

 

“ God in heaven, you're all obsessed !.” Lay said throwing his hands in the air 

 

“ He welcomes you to his opera house .” Maria said 

 

“ His opera house ?.” Lay  said questionly 

 

“ And commands that you continue to leave Box Five empty for his use and reminds you that his salary is due .” Maria said

 

“ His salary !.” Lay said as he took the envelope from Maria

 

“ Monsieur Lefevre used to give him twenty thousand francs a month .” Maria said 

 

“ Twenty thousand francs ?.” Lay said questionly once more 

 

“ Perhaps you can afford more, with the Vicomte de Chagny as your patron .” Maria said 

 

“ Madame, I had hoped to make that announcement public tonight, when the Vicomte was to join us at the gala. But obviously we shall now have to cancel as it appears we have lost our star .” Lay said as ripped up the letter and threw up in the air 

 

“ There should be an understudy .” Tao said 

 

“ Understudy ? There is no understudy for La Carlotta .” Chen said 

 

“ A full house, Andre, we have to refund a full house .” Lay said to Tao 

 

“ Christine Daae could sing it, sir .” Maria said as she walk to Saphira and then puts her Saphira shoulder 

 

“ The chorus girl ? Don't be silly .” Lay said to Maria

 

“ She's been taking lessons from a great teacher .” Maria said 

 

“ Who ?.” Tao ask Saphira

 

“ I don't know his name, monsieur .” Saphira said 

 

“ Let her sing for you, monsieur. She has been well taught .” Maria said 

 

“ Alright, come on, don't be shy, come on, come on .” Tao said as gestured towards the center of the stage 

 

She towards the center of the stage. 

 

“ From the beginning of the aria, mademoiselle .” Chen said 

 

“ Andre, this is doing nothing for my nerves .” Lay said 

 

“ She's very pretty .” Tao said with a smile 

 

Wow ! I never thought I hear those words from Tao and a smile with those words as well.

You long to take your heart…” Saphira sang beautiful as the music rises

if you ever find a moment,

spare a thought for me…” Saphira sang as she walks up more 

 

Then the spotlight hits her and I went up to box five for the next scene.

 

“ We never said our love was evergreen,

Or as unchanging as the sea

when I won't think of you .” Saphira sang beautiful as she hold that high note 

 

“ Can it be?

Bravo !.” I sang wonderful 

 

“ Long ago, it seem so long ago,

How young and innocent we were

She may not remember me, but I remember her .” I sang once more 

 

“ Flower fade, the fruit of summer fade

They have the season so do we

But please promise me that sometimes

You will think of me !.” Saphira sang as she held the high note wonderfully and I mean I got goosebumps 

 

“ Bravo

Ma musica, splendide

Bravo, bravo, bravissimi .” Tao shouted as he clapped in Box six

 

But then the scene changed and Saphira sitting on the ground in front of a candle that is lit.  

 

“  Christine, Christine

Where in the world have you been hiding ?

Really, you were perfect

I only wish I knew your secret

Who is your great tutor ?.” Eva sang as sat nexts Saphira

 

“ Meg, When your mother brought me here to live. Whenever I come down here alone, to light a candle for my father. A voice from above and in my dreams. He was always there. You see, when my father lay dying. He told me I will be protected by an angel. An angel of music .” Saphira said 

 

“ Christine, do you believe ? Do you think the spirit of your father tutored you ?.” Eva said 

 

“ Who else … Who else ?.” Aris ask  

 

“ Father once spoke of an angel

I used to dream he'd appear

Now as I sing, I can sense him

And I know he's here

Here in this room he calls me softly

Somewhere inside hiding

Somehow I know he's always with me

He, the unseen genius .” Saphira sang as stood up from the ground 

 

“ Christine, you must have been dreaming

Stories like this can't come true

Christine, you are talking in riddles

And it's not like you .” Eva sang 

 

“ Angel of Music

Guide and guardian 

Grant to me your glory .” Saphira sang 

 

“ Who is this Angel of Music ?.” Eva sang 

 

“ Angel of Music

Hide no longer

Secret and strange and joy 

He's with me, even now .” Saphira sang 

 

“ Your hands are cold .” Eva sang as she hold Saphira hands into hers 

 

“ All around me .” Saphira sang

 

“ Your face, Christine, is white .” Eva sang 

 

“ Its frighten me .” Saphira sang

 

“ Don’t be frightened .” Eva said 

 

Then the scene changed and she’s alone with Maria 

 

“ You did very well, my dear. He pleased with you .” Maria said as she handed a red rose with black ribbon tied to it.

 

My scene was up 

 

“ Ah, Vicomte, I believe we've made quite a discovery with Miss Daae .” Lay said 

 

“ Perhaps we can present her to you, dear Vicomte .” Tao said 

 

“ Gentlemen, if you wouldn't mind, this is one visit I should prefer to make unaccompanied. Thank you .” I said
