It was the last period of her class for the day meaning it was near the time that she’s supposed to meet Kiyong. Dara was not even listening to the professor as she was busy thinking about her answer to kiyongs confession. Jiyong on the other hand was busy looking at his bestfriend who was fidgeting on her seat. She usually does that when she’s nervous or when she’s about to do something she’s never done before and that got his attention. The Professor actually noticed that the two ace students in the class was not listening to her but she decided to just ignore it since she tried embarrassing dara the last time and she miserably failed doing so.

After the class ended, dara excused herself telling Jiyong that she needs to do something and that he should just go home early since she will just call her driver to take her home. She was glad because Jiyong agreed immediately.

As she was approaching the School Garden, she saw  Kiyong sitting on the red bench near the tree, waiting for her.

Inhale. Exhale. She repeated that mantra before approaching him.

Soft steps were heard as dara walked towards Kiyong, he already noticed her from afar and he was looking intently at her as she was approaching him.

Gulp* “Sorry for making you wait” Dara said as she reached the red bench. Kiyong smiled in reply. She was glad the place was more secluded enough to give them the privacy she wanted.

She sat at the red bench beside Kiyong, she noticed that he was looking at the front so she followed his gaze and saw that he was looking at the library building from afar and it made her wonder why.

“ You know, the first time I saw you was in the Schools Library” Kiyong blurted out.

“It was actually on my 1stst year in College, I was a shy boy and I wanted a place where I can just spend time on my own. I didn’t really care about girls and no one was able to get my attention. But I guess I was wrong, the moment I entered the library, I saw this beautiful girl walking towards my direction. I was dumbfounded; I have never seen someone so beautiful that I was literally on my spot. I thought she was coming to talk to me since girls usually do that, but much to my dismay, she just walked passed me. I only realized then that I was at the door and she was just about to go out of the library. After that, I learned her name from my classmates and they told me that she was one of the Queenka’s in YG academy. At first I was inlove by how beautiful she looked but then as I watched from afar, I fell inlove by how beautiful her heart was. Then the lucky day came, I forgot to bring my glasses but I didn’t know that because of that I would get a chance to talk to her. So I confessed, it was now or never I told myself and right now I’m about to hear her answer “ Kiyong smiled still looking at the building from afar while dara was doing the same.

“ Thank you “ Dara said looking at Kiyong.

“and I’m sorry but I can’t “ Kiyong then looked at her. He saw that there was sadness in her eyes. He knew what dara’s answer was but he confessed anyway, atleast now he has no regrets. It made him fall inlove with her more because he saw how she’s struggling with her words just to make it l
