More Than Words
Description
This one shot is vaguely based off the manga "More Than Words" by Yamamori Mika. I really enjoyed the story, considering that it had a lot to do with a current issue. The story is about a kid being bullied for his ual preference and due to the circumstances, he remains aloof and an outcast amongst the students. Yet, one day he is approached by one of the students, who gives him words of encouragement and even though it's such a small conversation, the words mean more to him than anything.
Rather than a romantic story, I hope this story could at least warm your heart :'-) If you ever find a kid being bullied about ual preference or about anything and are going through a really tough situation, don't be afraid to reach out to them. Your words, even if it's just a little, could really change or impact a person's life for the better. It's when you don't do anything and remain a bystander, that you'll begin to regret things.
Foreword
There's not much that I remember about my high school life. Yet when I close my eyes I can see him; the unrelaxed, uncouth facial he bore for hours while eating lunch, the view of his slouched shoulders from behind as he remained silent in his chair, and most of all the exclusive aura that resonated from him whenever he remained isolated among all the other chattering students. Min Yoongi, a mystery to most of the class.
