Yixing and Baekhyun had been together for about 3 weeks now and they couldn’t be happier. Whilst it is a struggle sometimes, mostly due to the elder’s insecurity, they still spend any free minute they had together. Baekhyun slept over nearly every day of the week. Yixing had made space for the younger. He had cleared out a shelf in his closet, put an extra toothbrush near the sink and had prepared to make couple teddy bears on their first official date which sat on the bench at the foot of the bed.

Their first date was surprisingly awkward considering they had known each other for years. Yixing went to Baekhyun’s house to pick him up. He never felt this many nears going through his body which was stupid. However Yixing wanted the date to go well and he didn’t know if going to a bear-making factory was too cheesy for his boyfriend. He arrived at the small apartment building and pressed the buzzer to signal he was waiting for Baekhyun to come down. It was a warm and sunny day so Yixing wore light blue ripped skinny jeans and a purple/white tanktop with a thin white jacket over it. He wanted to impress Baekhyun and look so handsome it would take his breath away, only what happened was exactly the opposite. When his boyfriend came walking out of the apartment building it was him that had trouble breathing. Baekhyun was wearing a black leather look jeans with on top, an ice blue t-shirt with black paint splatters. His newly dyed grey hair was styled downwards, with his locks a little in front of his eyes. If Yixing didn’t know better he’d thought this guy was someone not to be messed with. Thank god that he knew Baekhyun was actually a cute puppy and harmless. The younger approached him with a smirk on his face and teasingly ran his tongue over his bottom lip when he was in front of him. Yixing couldn’t help but stare in awe at his (incredibly hot) boyfriend. “Uh Yiyi, you got a little bit of drool there.” Baekhyun said, pointing to the left side of his mouth. He snapped out of his daze and quickly wiped the drool away. He wished he was shocked about that but nope, not a chance when the younger was wearing those skin tight pants. “Oh haha” he chuckled. “Sorry about that. Anyway, ready for our first date?” he asked whilst opening the passenger side door of his car for Baekhyun to get in. “Not without a kiss first” the other said teasingly. Wanting to tease back Yixing just responded with a shrug saying he didn’t put out on the first date. “Oh we’ll see” Baekhyun countered with a wink. So far so good thought Yixing.

He had been really nervous for some reason but being with Baekhyun had made it all easier. It was comfortable. They could tease each other freely and even when they were silent for a while it wasn’t awkward. Their relationship had obviously taken a 90 degree turn but the way they acted towards each other hadn’t changed. Yixing was very grateful of that, not having to worry about flirting or how he should act. He had the luxury of being himself and knowing his date loved him anyway. “Where are you taking me Yiyi?” Baekhyun asked. “It’s a surprise” Yixing answered. A minute later he felt a hand on his. “Where are we going?” he heard and tightened his hold on his boyfriend’s hand. “I am not saying Baek~” he answered chuckling, to which the younger just huffed and let go of his hand. “Oh come on baby don’t be like that. I put a lot of thought into this and I am sure that you love it.” he said Baekhyun’s hair and softly rubbing his neck. The younger hummed at his boyfriend’s affectionate touch. “We will be there in 5 minutes” Yixing said. A smile grew on the younger’s face and he started bouncing in his seat. Yixing’s heart rate sped up seeing how excited his boyfriend was, their nerves nonexistent because they were that comfortable with each other. He thought that he must always be the reason for Baekhyun’s happiness. When they arrived Yixing persuaded Baekhyun to stay in the car while he made sure everything was set up and ready with the staff of the establishment. He had rented the entire shop just so he and Baekhyun could have a quiet time. He had asked the staff beforehand to set up a station with all of Baekhyun’s favorite snacks and an unlimited supply of his favorite drink, caramel hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. Yixing wanted to check if everything was perfect before he’d guide his boyfriend inside. The staff arranged everything perfectly and he couldn’t be happier so he quickly ran outside to fetch his date. “Okay Baekkie. Everything is ready for us now please, close your eyes until I say you can open them.” he asked, taking hold of the younger’s hands. Baekhyun nodded and closed his eyes. He had a goofy grin on his face and Yixing pecked him quickly on the lips because it looked too adorable. He was surprised the younger did everything he asked so willingly. It must have been the excitement of it all that had drawn it out of him. When he had guided his boyfriend into the store he counted to 3 and told the younger to open his eyes. When Baekhyun opened them he had his gaze fixed on his gorgeous face. Yixing wanted to see all the emotions that would be displayed. There was a tiny sparkle in his eyes, a bright smile on his lips and a look of wonderment. It was safe to say that this was the right choice to have made. Baekhyun excitedly ran over to the table with snacks and the hot beverage. “You arranged all of this Yiyi?” he was asked. He sheepishly nodded at the younger, feeling a little embarrassed for arranging such a cheesy thing. Baekhyun thought it was a bit cheesy too but he pecked Yixing’s lips gratefully.

Once they started to make the bears Baekhyun exclaimed that he wanted to make a Yixing bear and that he wanted the elder to make a Baekhyun bear. Yixing could only agree to that but he had no idea what kind of bear he should make that would represent Baekhyun. He started by choosing a black bear because that was his natural hair color even though he loved to dye it unnatural colors. He took a peek at Baekhyun who was eagerly stuffing a white bear and realised how in love he was with the smaller boy. He thought about the things that made him feel that way such as that whenever he saw something he liked he got a twinkle in his eyes. Or when Yixing felt down how he would smile and brighten up the day. Or how funny he was, how clever and playful. But the best thing about Baekhyun was the way he loved him, passionate and considerate. Then he thought of the perfect way to dress the teddy bear. He quickly stuffed the bear and walked around the shop trying to find a suit for the bear to put on, a bowl hat and a cane. Both boys agreed to meet at the small cafe to exchange the bears whenever they were done. Baekhyun was already sitting there with his favorite drink and a white piece of cloth over his bear. It looked big to Yixing and he wondered if his boyfriend had overstuffed the arm area. He sat down and was greeted with a beaming bright smile. It made his heart flutter a little. “Show me show me show me. Please Yiyi can I have it?” Baekhyun exclaimed excitedly. He can be such a little kid sometimes, Yixing thought. He was surprised that the kid wasn’t making grabby hands yet however he did gave him the bear to avoid any kind of tantrum the other was going to throw if he didn't get the bear soon. At first Baekhyun’s face lit up for a second but when he took a good look at the bear his expression transformed to a confused one. “You okay there Baek?” he asked with a tone of amusement in his voice. “I am not sure I get it” was the reply. Baekhyun kept turning it around and examining it. “Do you want me to tell you or are you going to stare at it for the rest of the day?” Yixing teased. He saw his boyfriend admitting defeat by putting the bear on his lap so he could hug it and looking expectantly at him. “It’s Charlie Chaplin. From the movies. You know?” he started but seeing Baekhyun’s confused expression so he decided to explain. “He used to play in movies which were incredibly funny and entertaining. They are really old but my grandfather used to watch them with me and Charlie’s fun antics stayed with me.” he continued. Baekhyun was still hugging the bear and looking very interested in the reasoning behind the costume. “Since you are funny and always make me laugh with whatever stupid thing you do it reminded me of Charlie Chaplin. So long story short that why I picked that outfit” he finished feeling rather embarrassed about this. It seemed like a good idea at first but he never anticipated on Baekhyun not knowing who he was. Suddenly his hand was grabbed and squeezed. When he looked up he saw Baekhyun smile at him. “I love it Yixing. Thank you” his boyfriend started, “Now look at mine~”. A bear was shoved into his hands. “An angel?” he asked. “You see me as an angel?” he asked again and Baekhyun nodded. He felt honored to say the least and grateful for the compliment but he couldn’t help but think it was misplaced. Aren’t angels supposed to be innocent and pure? “Yixing I know you don’t see yourself that way” Baekhyun started. He had read his thoughts perfectly and he wished Baekhyun wasn’t his best friend so he wouldn’t know his mind. “but to me you are. You have a good heart, no taste for anything evil and you always make it your task to see everyone around you happy and supported. That to me is very angel like” his boyfriend concluded. All he that he could do now was rush over to the boy a kiss the crap out of him. Never had someone held such a romantic and heartfelt speech about him. But the best part was; the boy was entirely his!

It was a rainy friday evening and Baekhyun was once again staying over. They had eaten a nice home cooked meal together to celebrate the coming of the weekend. It meant no work, studies or any other annoying obligations that the two had. It was all about fun and relaxation. Yixing was sitting on the couch with the younger's head in his lap. He was absent mindedly his fingers through the soft locks until he was shaken out of his thoughts. “What are you thinking of?” he was asked. “Sehun” he replied in a sad voice. The youngest had been on his mind a lot lately. They hadn’t seen him in god knows how long and whenever they made plans he always cancelled them. Yixing worried something bad was going on with their friend and was scared to face them. “Not seeing him really bothers you doesn’t it?”. He nodded. It did bother him because not only made it worry him about Sehun’s health but also himself. Perhaps he had done something to hurt him or make him angry. If that was true he’d like a chance to fix it. “Let’s go see him tomorrow. We will go to his house unannounced. That way he won’t be able to cancel on us and if he doesn’t want to see us it’ll be easier to argue with him”. Yixing smiled at the idea. “Baekkie~ you are a genius” he screamed out, attacking him with kisses. After a while they got more heated and his boyfriend started to attempt taking his shirt off. “Want to take this to the bedroom or were you really going to me on this couch?” he said. Baekhyun was so shocked that he shot up and looked at him with his mouth open. Then something in his brain clicked and his witty self appeared. “My angel has such a dirty mouth. Perhaps I should put something in it to stop you from being so foul”. “I don’t think that what you have in mind will make my mouth any less dirtier”. He teased. Seeing the expression on the other’s face change to bewilderment he decided to quickly make his way to the bedroom. “Yah Zhang Yixing don’t speak of my glorious like that. Come here you and receive your punishment!” he spoke in anger walking into the bedroom after Yixing.

After an exhausting night both boys had gotten out of bed at 10 to have breakfast and get ready for their visit to Sehun. At noon they were all ready to go. The ride to Sehun’s house was short but to Yixing it seemed to last for hours. He was so tense that even his neck hurt (or was it because Baekhyun had been too rough with him ing his mouth last night? He couldn’t tell). Baekhyun was beside him his right hand with his thumb. It had a calming effect but this situation needed a lot more than just that to make him feel at ease. He just wanted his friend back. They got out of the car and rang the doorbell. Baekhyun was still holding his hand and he said something but the only thing he was focused on was the door in front of him. Was he home? Would he open the door? Did he see them coming and hid? Those were all things that he was wondering. In the end the door opened and reveiled a disheveled Sehun dressed in only a bathrobe. “What are you guys doing here so early?” he said groggily. Yixing apologized for having woken him up and explained they just wanted to see their best friend. It was good seeing him although Yixing had to admit that the welcome wasn’t as warm and friendly as he had hoped. “I am happy to see you both but actualy this is not the right time.” Sehun said quietly. “I am sick of this Sehun. You always cancel. We never see you and you are making your best friends worry. Why do you keep blowing us off? If you don’t want to be friends then tell us”. Baekhyun wasn’t easy to piss off but he seemed truly angry at the moment. Yixing tried to calm him down and silence him but whatever he tried nothing worked. “You are an . Do you even know how worried he is?” he continued whilst pointing at him. “Yixing will mention your name at least once a day wondering how you are doing, whether you are eating well or whether you are sick. He thinks he has done something wrong!” Baekhyun shouted.

“Yah Baek don’t talk like I am not here!!” He shouted at his boyfriend.

“Can we keep this quiet?” Sehun said calmly.

“Sehun, why are there people shouting?” a familiar voice rang from inside of the house. A voice that was all to familiar to the 2 boys standing outside. Yixing’s eyes widened and he had trouble breathing. What was he doing here? And why was he with his best friend?
