Kim MinYoung was a beauiful girl, on the outside and the inside. She liked to play soccer, liked to go to school, and loved her best friend. The whole school liked her, she had lots of friends, and a loving family. Her part-time job, was helping out at a local orphanage.. your all around sweetheart. She cared deeply for kids and small animals, that were homeless or helpless. She had dreams of becoming a peditrician, she even got into a major university. Her world revolved around others over herself.

But that all seemed lost when she fell ill. It started as a fever, then progressed to vomiting. Her mother could tell something was wrong when she started coughing up blood, one day after school. Little did she know, she was slowly dying. Her heart was failing and her lungs were giving out on her. On top of that, she found out she needed a heart transplant. But cheerfully declined, saying she couldn't do that to someone's family member. Her mom supported her decision and planned for the worst.

during her last few days, she decided to have her poems bound in a small book. She enclosed a letter to her best friend, confessing her love for him. But it was too late for him to tell her.... he loved her too.
